Reporter asks Biden spox point blank why he lies so much!

White House National Security Council advisor John Kirby was forced to politically tap dance on Wednesday when asked about President Joe Biden lying.

The question by Washington Times reporter Jeff Mordock follows Biden’s claiming this week that he was at Ground Zero the day after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which is demonstrably not true.

“The president has lied about being at Ground Zero the day after the Sept. 11 attacks, falsely claimed he saw the Pittsburgh bridge collapse, claimed his grandfather died in the hospital days before his birth. What is going on with the president?” Mordock bluntly asked.

“Is he just believing things that didn’t happen did happen, or is he just randomly making stuff up?” the reporter asked a stunned Kirby during the White House press briefing.

Kirby had a good reputation before shilling for Biden. He is a retired Navy rear admiral and veteran military public affairs officer. That’s pretty much history after attempting over and over and over again to provide cover for Biden. Now he’s turned into a political animal.

Instead of answering the direct question with a direct answer, Kirby dodged it, launching into a propagandistic spew over Biden’s trip on Monday to visit troops in Alaska. He did not address the fact that Biden was the first president to skip attending or hosting Ground Zero ceremonies since the 9/11 attacks.

Kirby did, however, attempt to lamely clarify Biden’s Ground Zero gaffe.

“The president was deeply touched and honored to be able to spend 9/11 with military members there in Alaska and some families and was honored by their presence and the chance to make an important set of remarks about why we need to continue to remember that day. And he did that,” Kirby asserted.

“And he spoke about a visit to Ground Zero, which he did participate in about a week or so after the event, and what that looked and what that smelled and what that felt like. And it had a visceral impact on him as it did so many other Americans on that terrible day,” he said, conducting damage control the best he could under the circumstances.

Biden is 80 years old and shows every inch of it these days with gaffes and memory lapses. But his most notable actions involve outright lies.

The president detailed the horrific scene from Ground Zero just one day after the collapse of the World Trade Center during his remarks to military service members in Anchorage, Alaska, on the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

“Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. And I felt like I was looking through the gates of hell,” Biden declared, using the deaths of nearly 3,000 Americans as political fodder.

“It looked so devastating because the way you could, from where you could stand,” he claimed.

In an interview with the New York Post on Monday, a White House official stated that Biden was referring to his Sept. 20, 2001, Ground Zero visit, as part of a 38-senator delegation that occurred nine days after the attack.

Kirby pathetically contended that Biden is “focused on making sure that an attack like that never happens again, which is why we’ve improved our over-the-horizon counterterrorism capability and why we continue to hold terrorist networks accountable.”

“And it’s why he spent so much time last week shoring up our national security interests in a vital part of the world on issues that aren’t necessarily tied to terrorism, but very much tied to our ability to secure peace and prosperity there and around the world,” he said.

This as the president on 9/11 released $6 billion in funds to Iran, the biggest purveyor of terrorism on the planet, according to The Wall Street Journal.

That happened at the same time that Iran released American prisoners. The White House immediately declared the money was not ransom, but funds that belonged to the Iranian regime, according to The Hill.

When Kirby made his statement, Mordock countered that Biden has “had a string of saying things that happened didn’t, things that are easily debunked. Why does he keep doing that?”

“The president was grateful to spend that time with those family members and those troops,” Kirby responded, not answering the question.
