RFK Jr. joined Fox News host Martha MacCallum on Friday to discuss how the Democratic Party is trying to silence his campaign to win the nomination for the 2024 election. He raged against the leftist media which won’t allow his voice to be heard.

MacCallum brought up the subject of Democrats having debates to help select their nominee, not just blindly tapping a weak and flawed elderly incumbent president as their leader. She played a clip of “The View” co-host Ana Navarro saying, “There’s nobody running against Biden,” to drive her point home.

“I mean, what do you think when you hear this conversation?” MacCallum bluntly asked Kennedy.

“It is surreal. My polling numbers are better than Ron DeSantis and/or any other candidate except for Biden and Trump. But I’m you know, even when they talk about me on the DNC channels, on CNN and MSNBC, they always refer to me, my first name as a longshot candidate, whereas everybody else has a candidacy that is taken seriously,” Kennedy responded, expressing his frustration with his own party.

“That’s when they’re being nice,” MacCallum noted, fully agreeing with Kennedy.

I’m not allowed on CNN or MSNBC at all. And all of the Republican candidates can go on there. Jake Tapper has said publicly that he will not do a town hall for me, even though it’s done with Nikki Haley and with Ron DeSantis. So, it’s surreal,” he continued.

MacCallum alluded to CNN’s recent polling showing that Democrats are unhappy with President Biden and are worried about his age and capacity to lead as president.

“So there you are, you know, sort of waving your arms going, ‘Hey, what about me?’ And they refuse to talk to you. You say that they call you a long shot. When they don’t call you a long shot, they call you a conspiracy theorist. So, you know, there appears to be a very coordinated effort against your candidacy. So how do you break through that? I mean, what’s your strategy? How do you break through that?” she asked the Democratic candidate.

“Well, I mean, the way I break through it is what I’m doing. As I said, my favorability numbers are now better, far better than President Trump’s or President Biden’s. So the strategy that we’re employing is actually working, and that is to do a lot of long-form interviews on, you know, on podcasts to come on on this network, which does allow me on. You guys have been very, very generous,” Kennedy told MacCallum, praising the network for allowing free speech to take place.

According to Fox News, “Additionally, as of early August, polling showed Republicans liked Kennedy far more than Democrats. According to FiveThirtyEight, Kennedy has a +28 approval rating among Republicans and a -5 among Democrats.”

Many believe just like any other candidate, Kennedy should be allowed to voice his political beliefs and let Democrats decide for themselves whether he should be the nominee or not.

“Unfortunately, it appears that the DNC has created a class of pledged delegates, called Party Leaders and Elected Officials (PLEOs), who are essentially the same as superdelegates, due to the amount of control the party exercises over elected officials,” Kennedy campaign manager Dennis Kucinich declared in a press release on Friday.

“This puts the DNC, once again, in the position of overturning the will of voters across the United States. It is unclear how overturning the nation’s majority vote could be interpreted as trusting the people,” he charged.
