The gift of gender fluidity brought upon society by progressive liberals is a gift that keeps on giving — in a dark, sinister manner.

Look no further than California, where a group of parents where shocked to learn that “non-binary” male counselors shared a cabin with young female students.

The Los Alamitos Unified School District is feeling the heat after a group of parents at Weaver Elementary School learned about sleeping arrangements at a school-organized science camp in San Bernardino County, according to KTLA.

“According to the parents, their fifth-grade girls said that some of the biologically male counselors at Camp Pali in San Bernardino who use they/them pronouns spent three nights sleeping in cabins with the young girls,” the local affiliate reported.

Those who identify as “non-binary,” or genderqueer, can include a wide range of folks.

Healthline states: “The term ‘nonbinary’ can mean different things to different people. Essentially, it’s used to describe someone whose gender identity can’t be described as exclusively woman or man. Some people who are nonbinary experience their gender as both man and woman, and others experience their gender as neither man nor woman. Nonbinary can also be used as an umbrella term, encompassing many gender identities that don’t fit into the man-woman binary.”

While confusing, this is held up as enlightened thought in today’s world and those who refuse to accept it as normal behavior, holding on to basic science to say there are but two genders, are attacked in the media as bigots and homophobes.

“I contacted the school and asked them if they were able to confirm that there was not a man actually sleeping in the same cabin as the girls. They were not able to confirm that,” parent Rachel Sandoval said, according to KTLA.

“No parent should feel the way I feel after knowing what could have happened to my daughter,” said parent Suzy Johnson.

Emmi Teige, assistant director of Camp Pali, confirmed that the camp’s staffers are placed “in cabins they identify with,” hiding behind California law to justify their policy.

Adults tasked with protecting children are coming up short and for the children, once their innocence is lost, it’s lost forever.

The Los Alamitos school district has reportedly launched an investigation, while parents are just asking to be made aware of the policy so that they can make the best decisions for their children.

“It’s awful that children had to even experience this in fifth-grade camp,” Johnson said. “If I was aware of it and I had initialed something saying this was going to be done at this outdoor science camp, I would have kept my children home.”

Failing to protect children appears to be a common theme on the left.

Hannah Tubbs, a 26-year-old biologically male who identifies as a female is in the news this week after receiving what was seen as a slap on the wrist in a Los Angeles court. Tubbs pled guilty to molesting a 10-year-old girl  in women’s restroom at a Denny’s restaurant. The crime took place in 2014, when Tubbs was two weeks shy of 18, and he began identifying as a woman after being arrested.

Tubbs received a sentence of two years at a juvenile facility because LA District Attorney George Gascon’s office declined to transfer the case to adult court — the Democrat notorious for being soft on crime tried to walk back that decision later, while Tubbs was caught on an LA jailhouse recording gloating over the light sentence while saying vile things about the victim that’s unfit for print, Fox News reported.
