Speculation on Trump’s Cabinet begins

Now that President-elect Donald J. Trump has won the election in a landslide, business will soon get down to steering the nation away from the abyss now that the Biden-Harris disaster is finally over.

Trump will need to get good people in place to help him with the course correction and speculation is already underway on who he could pick for his new Cabinet with several familiar names in the mix.

The New York Post reports that the nation’s 47th president spent time on Wednesday meeting with his team in Palm Beach, FL to strategize on who would be the best fit to help reverse the damage done by the Democrat regime.

Campaign adviser Brian Hughes told the outlet that the Trump transition team which has been working for months is “preparing for an internal ‘unveiling,’” with “the discussion among aides this week is expected to focus on process rather than particular nominee names.”

The most familiar names that the paper lists for the new administration’s top jobs are Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) for Secretary of State, former GOP presidential candidate and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum for Secretary of Energy/Interior, and former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy for White House Chief of Staff.

Also named as possibilities for COS are Trump Campaign Co-Chair Susie Wiles and former White House Domestic Policy Adviser Brooke Rollins with Wiles as the favorite.

One position that will be imperative to restore public trust will be attorney general after Merrick Garland turned the Justice Department into a politicized enforcement arm of the Democratic Party and the FBI into its Gestapo.

The three names mentioned by the Post are former acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker who briefly held the top job at DOJ during the first Trump administration, Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry who was previously the Bayou State’s attorney general, and Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) who also was his state’s AG.

Potential picks for national security roles are Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL), and former National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien, a veteran of the first Trump administration.

Former acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf could replace open borders zealot Alejandro Mayorkas at DHS.

Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) is also seen as a possibility to head up the State Department and Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy is in the running for Secretary of Energy/Interior.

Also on tap for prime positions are Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. who could surgically cut the corruption out of the national health bureaucracy, and Tesla/SpaceX CEO and X owner Elon Musk who is eager to get to work downsizing the government, like he did when he bought Twitter and laid off most of the staff without impacting the tech giant’s efficiency

It’s critically important that Trump surrounds himself with loyal people who are dedicated to his “America First” vision, and not the disloyal backstabbing snakes like John Kelly, John Bolton, “Mad Dog” Mattis, and many others who undermined him during his first term.

Trump’s ability to get his people in place will be greatly aided by a Republican-controlled Senate after voters put the upper chamber back into the hands of the adults.
