Congress could soon be losing one of its biggest problem children with a new poll showing Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) getting creamed by his primary opponent.
Faced with a voter revolt against the anti-Semitism of the “Squad” to which he belongs, the volatile lawmaker is on track for a landslide loss to Westchester County executive George Latimer who he trails by 17 points in the Emerson College Polling/PIX11/The Hill survey, a beatdown that would be a repudiation of far-left Democrats.
Latimer, who has run on being pro-Israel, draws the support of 48 percent of Dem primary voters versus 31 percent for Bowman, a former middle school principal whose juvenile antics have been an ongoing source of embarrassment for his district.

The two-term incumbent has made headlines for his volcanic temper, the illegal act of pulling a fire alarm to shut down a government funding vote in Congress, and parroting Hamas terror organization propaganda about the war in Gaza.
Bowman has defended the anti-Semitic slogan “from the river to the sea” that calls for the genocide of Israeli Jews as not being hate speech, and claimed that the rapes committed by the Islamist savages were lies, although he later walked that one back. The human time bomb has also referred to Israel as an “apartheid” state, referring to the notorious South African system, a smear that his fellow “Squad” members have repeatedly used to describe the Jewish democracy.
While Bowman has been saturated with the stink of the anti-Semitism that permeates through much of his party’s base, Latimer has consistently defended Israel and is a chance for voters to hit the reset button by ousting the radical leftist, who is supported by the Democrat Socialists of America and is almost certainly viewed as a friend by the terrorists.
With his House seat circling the drain, Bowman took to X this week with a more rational take on the October 7, 2023 massacre of over 1,200 Israelis in civilian areas, one that smacks of self-preservation rather than sincerity.
I condemn those celebrating the innocents killed on October 7.
This dark day was the largest attack on the Jewish community since the Holocaust. Celebrating it is antisemitic and unacceptable. Peace cannot be achieved by weaponizing our tragedies against each other.

Bowman suffered a big pre-election blow when a popular local Democrat, former Rep. Mondaire Jones (D-NY) endorsed Latimer, infuriating “Squad” leader Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) who all but formerly called him a traitor.
According to the New York Times, “Jones said “that he could not sit by while Mr. Bowman positioned himself as a leading critic of Israel, saying that his former ally had sown ‘pain and anxiety’ among Jewish New Yorkers and had torn ‘at the fabric of our community and our civil rights coalition.’” Those are strong words from the progressive Democrat.
“As someone who is among the most popular Democrats in the Hudson Valley, it is my prerogative to play a dispositive role in ending this long, painful nightmare that we have been experiencing since Oct. 7,” said Jones who made his endorsement of Latimer official in early June.
With polls showing that Bowman is likely a political goner, not even AOC is going to be able to save him.
