Teachers put on leave after celebrating on video over alleged Iranian threats against Trump

A Pennsylvania school has put two teachers on leave pending an investigation after they posted a video to social media celebrating reports of Iranian assassination threats against President Donald J. Trump.

Pittsburgh-based Propel Schools announced that the “employees” were taken out of the classroom after it was made aware of the “inappropriate social media content” posted by the duo, more activists cosplaying as educators who have exploited their positions of trust to poison the minds of impressionable children who are ripe for leftist indoctrination.

In the video, which was posted to X by the popular Libs of TikTok account, the two women are giddy as they share a report about the threats to Trump, who narrowly avoided being killed by a domestic assassin at a rally in nearby Butler, Pa., in July 2024.

In a follow-up post, LOTT shared a message to parents from Propel Schools.

“We want to make you aware of a situation involving inappropriate social media content posted by two Propel employees regarding a news report about Iran and President Trump,” the notice read.

“As soon as this matter was brought to our attention, a formal investigation was initiated and the employees have been placed on leave,” the message continued. “We are taking this situation seriously and will take appropriate action based on the findings of that investigation.”

“Any suggestion of harm or violence toward any human being is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the values of Propel Schools. We serve children and families, and professionalism, safety and respect are expectations for all staff,” Propel Schools added, noting that such behavior from its employees is not acceptable.

But the school’s action doesn’t go far enough for many X users who expressed their opinion that the two should already be in the unemployment line and that Propel Schools isn’t really serious about meting out disciplinary action.

Earlier this week, Iranian state TV aired a threat against Trump that referenced an assassination attempt, one of at least two during his White House run.

“This time, it (the bullet) won’t miss,” read the caption in Farsi. The clip was shared by i24 News correspondent Amachia Stein.

The Secret Service confirmed that it is aware of the threatening image, according to Fox News.
