New York Attorney General Letitia James raged against former President Trump, declaring that “The Donald Trump show is over!” while he called her “incompetent” and branded his fraud trial a “disgrace.”

Trump hammered James and Judge Arthur Engoron after he left the Manhattan courthouse following the third day of his trial. Then James grandstanded in front of reporters in response.
“I’m here, stuck here, and I can’t campaign. I would rather be right now in Iowa. I’d rather be in New Hampshire or South Carolina, or Ohio, or a lot of other places, but I’m stuck here because I have a corrupt attorney general and the judge already knows what he’s going to do. He’s a Democrat judge. In all fairness to him, he has no choice. He has no choice. He’s run by the Democrats,” the former president stated, showing his frustration.
James waited to smear Trump until he had departed for Florida and then tore into him.
“Mr. Trump’s comments were offensive. They were baseless. They were void of any facts and/or any evidence. What they were were comments that unfortunately fomented violence, comments that I would describe as race-baiting. Comments, unfortunately, that appeals to the bottom of our humanity… I will not be bullied. And so Mr. Trump is no longer here. The Donald Trump show is over,” she proclaimed.

The judge in the case slapped Trump with a partial gag order on Tuesday after the former president complained about Engoron’s law clerk on Truth Social and in emails. That order did not apply to the words exchanged between James and Trump on Wednesday.
The judge ordered Trump to delete the “disparaging, untrue and personally-identifying post,” according to the Daily Mail.
Trump called the clerk Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer’s “girlfriend” and then posted a link to her Instagram account. He savaged her advice given to a judge whom he has branded as “deranged.” The former president also called James a “Monster” and a “Deranged Lunatic.”
Engoron announced in court on Tuesday, “Consider this statement an order forbidding all parties from posting, emailing or speaking publicly about any members of my staff.”
He warned that failure to abide by the order “will result in serious sanctions.”

Although the Left and James are asserting that Trump does not have to be at his trial until called to testify, the former president has attended the three days of the farce so far to defend himself and his reputation.
The attorney general is using lawfare against Trump, ostensibly seeking to drain his funds and keep him off the campaign trail. She wants $250 million from the former president and to ban him and his sons from conducting business in New York in the future.
“This witch hunt has gone on using statute 63 (12). Consumer fraud statute. It doesn’t allow any juries, doesn’t allow me anything. We have a prosecutor Letitia James who is incompetent,” Trump angrily stated, while accusing her of forcing companies to flee New York while “violent crime in particular runs rampant.”
“So this witch hunt does not allow me a hearing. That can’t be possible [because] somebody didn’t check a box. Has nothing to do with it. Under 63 (12) you are not entitled to a jury. First time it’s ever been used for a purpose like this. Never been used. They used it on me, the former president, the leading candidate, leading Joe Biden by a lot, which is probably why this is all happening. Not probably – definitely they are coordinating with Washington 100 percent,” Trump continued.
.@mrddmia: “This is NOT Constitutional. This is only Constitutional in third world Marxist hellholes like North Korea. And now New York, DC, and Atlanta.”

“This trial is a disgrace,” Trump remarked.
Fox News contributor Leo Terrell commented that there “usually are some forms where you have to make a check,” and noted that he was “perplexed” at Trump’s legal team for failing to appeal a non-jury trial, according to the Daily Mail.
Former U.S. Attorney Harry Litman called the decision to not request a jury trial “mind-blowing.”
“I had heard this rumor, and now the judge just confirmed it. It is mind-blowing. For Trump to have his fate in the hands of this judge, whom he has vilified, is malpractice by his lawyers and very ominous for him,” he wrote on X.

Trump labeled his prosecution “the beginning of communism,” according to the Daily Mail.
Even before the trial commenced, Engoron ruled that Trump and his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. committed business fraud. The trial is merely a sham to further denigrate Trump. It is being held “to decide the scope of the penalty plus six remaining causes of action alleged by the New York attorney general,” ABC News reported.
Trump is currently appealing the pre-trial ruling.
