The media has uncorked the latest in a pre-election torrent of hoaxes with another doozy, distorting former President Donald J. Trump’s remarks to suggest that he’s urging violence against them.
After days of pushing the lie that Trump called for the execution of top Kamala Harris surrogate Liz Cheney – he didn’t – the purveyors of the Big Lie are out with another grossly misleading claim with the obvious intention to gaslight voters that he’s a dangerous dictator.
During a Sunday rally in Lititz, Pennsylvania, the Republican nominee commented on the bulletproof glass protective shielding that he has needed to use since he was nearly assassinated in July at an outdoor event in the critical battleground state.
“I have this piece of glass here,” he said. “But all we have really over here is the fake news, right? And to get me, somebody would have to shoot through the fake news.”
“But I don’t mind that so much,” Trump added. “I don’t mind.”
The fake news media pounced, pushing their disinformation because with Kamala Harris lacking any policies that would actually improve the lives of Americans, fearmongering about “orange man bad” is all that they have.
Nancy Pelosi and Jen Psaki claiming Trump’s rhetoric has led to ‘violent threats’ against Nancy Pelosi:
Jen Psaki: “He seems to be really leaning into the violent rhetoric in the final stretch of his campaign.”

The Harris campaign is also pushing the hoax, no surprise for perhaps the most dishonest presidential candidate in U.S. history.

The Trump campaign rejected the narrative.
“President Trump was brilliantly talking about the two assassination attempts on his own life, including one that came within 1/4 of an inch from killing him, something that the Media constantly talks and jokes about. The President’s statement about protective glass placement has nothing to do with the Media being harmed, or anything else,” said Trump Campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung in a statement, shooting down the newly birthed hoax.
“It was about threats against him that were spurred on by dangerous rhetoric from Democrats. In fact, President Trump was stating that the Media was in danger, in that they were protecting him and, therefore, were in great danger themselves, and should have had a glass protective shield, also. There can be no other interpretation of what was said. He was actually looking out for their welfare, far more than his own!” Cheung stated.
Democrats and their water carriers in newsrooms and television studios have leaned heavily on the Big Lie strategy and no longer even bother telling the truth, burning their credibility to the ground.
