‘This is a raging fire!’ Doocy and Kilmeade throw down over Republican probe of Biden corruption

Things got heated on “Fox & Friends” as co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade clashed over whether there was a “smoking gun” that proves President Biden’s corruption or not.

The two men aggressively disagreed on Thursday about whether Congressional Republicans had sufficient proof that Biden did something illegal. Doocy sounded a lot like he was parroting leftist talking points, although he did say it looks bad for President Biden.

“With all due respect, the Republicans need better investigators because they have a lot of circumstantial evidence, but they have not shown that Joe Biden profited personally, or he had broken any rules,” Doocy claimed despite the fact that Republicans have released bank records that purportedly show just that.

Doocy and Kilmeade have butted heads over the subject previously but this time Kilmeade seemed especially angry over the issue in regard to Doocy’s allegations.

“They’re doing great. I vehemently disagree,” Kilmeade said looking daggers at Doocy.

After that, the two began talking over one another just before it really got testy.

“No, no. Let me finish,” Kilmeade tersely told Doocy.

Let me finish! I started,” Doocy bit back.

“This is funneling right to him at a rapid pace. They have had this job for eight months,” Kilmeade informed his co-host.

“What’s funneling into him?” Doocy asked playing dumb.

“Everything! Is Joe involved? Is Joe’s presence involved in every major business deal that Hunter was involved in? As Andy McCarthy said, Joe was the business. He had the access. Hunter didn’t. Hunter didn’t have the reputation. It’s leading right there,” Kilmeade adamantly stated.

That’s when Doocy started spitting out leftist talking points.

Brian, what laws did Joe Biden break?” Doocy asked.

“If the American people knew…” Kilmeade replied before being interrupted.

“Just answer the question. What law did he break?” Doocy snapped.

“Number one, the investigation is not done,” Kilmeade pointed out.

“That’s my point, Brian! They need better investigators,” Doocy reiterated.

“Do you not want to hear any reporting until it’s done?” Kilmeade replied, getting more visibly agitated.

At that point, co-host Ainsley Earhardt stepped in to cool it down a bit.

Despite that, Doocy got in another shot, declaring, “They just don’t have the smoking gun yet.”

“This is a raging fire!” Kilmeade proclaimed while Doocy insisted that Republicans only have circumstantial evidence against Biden so far.

Doocy gave a performance worthy of Democrats, defending Biden and asserting that there is no evidence yet that he actually committed a crime.

“To my earlier point, the Republicans just need to present the evidence to the American people and say, look, they have got to say okay…” Doocy said doubling down on his statements.

“Nineteen pages wasn’t enough yesterday?” Kilmeade answered, referring to the memo released by Republicans on Wednesday showing how money flowed to the Bidens.

“Brian, they’ve got to say we can prove Joe Biden broke the law by doing this. That’s all I’m saying…” Doocy insisted again.

Kilmeade accused Doocy once again of not wanting transparency during the investigation, just an end result.

“So you only want a concluding sentence? You don’t want to see the investigation?” Kilmeade repeated.

“I’m watching the investigation!” Doocy exclaimed.

“This investigation is the most damning leading to a culmination I have ever seen,” Kilmeade commented.

Doocy backtracked a bit, trying to have it both ways by saying, “I said it looks terrible. We just need proof so the American public.”

“You said Republicans are doing a terrible job!” Kilmeade said, using Doocy’s words against him.

“I said they need better investigators that can connect the dots,” Doocy claimed.

At the end of the segment, Doocy told the audience, “We disagree about this.”

That seemed to be an understatement.
