‘This is bulls**t’: MSNBC has nightmare morning with ‘technical issues’ not everyone is buying

MSNBC, the pro-Democrat cable news network, started its day off on a terrible foot Tuesday when technical difficulties resulted in reruns airing for an extended period.

That’s according to Mediaite, which reported that “reruns aired over live programming Tuesday morning.”

“Viewers tuning in at 6 AM were greeted with a shot of the Capitol building and The Who’s ‘Teenage Wasteland’ playing. This lasted for roughly a minute until internal promotions and commercials were aired on repeat until 6:07 — when a re-airing of Monday night’s Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell suddenly popped up without explanation,” the outlet reported.

MSNBC host Jon Lemire posted a tweet at 5:32 a.m. that read: “To those looking for @WayTooEarly this morning – we are experiencing technical difficulties. Our apologies. Keep watching @MSNBC and we hope to have @WayTooEarly and @Morning_Joe back up soon.”

The tweet suggested that whatever the problem was, the network did not have a quick solution at hand.

“Finally, at 6:12, Mika Brzezinski appeared with a brief apology to viewers for the slight delay, and normalcy resumed,” Mediate added.

The technical issues reportedly began in the 5 AM hour, with garbled audio being heard during the B block of Way Too Early With Jon Lemire, with Mediaite noting that The Rachel Maddow Show aired instead of the normal live program.

Overall, that’s a long time for a major network to be experiencing problems, as the article pointed out, calling it “a bit of a disaster for MSNBC.”

Social media users took notice of the issue, not that all saw it as a great loss… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
