Trump calls for CNN reporter to be fired and ‘thrown out ‘like a dog’ over sketchy Iran nuke report

President Donald Trump finally unloaded on a CNN reporter he had “watched for three days” as she delivered what he said was fake news.

In a scathing post on Truth Social, Trump called out CNN’s Natasha Bertrand over her reports on the U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, saying the reporter should be fired and “thrown out like a dog.” CNN responded to say they “Stand 100% behind” Bertrand’s “journalism.”

Bertrand claimed that, according to a U.S. intelligence assessment following last week’s military strike, “core components of the country’s nuclear program” were not actually destroyed.

It is to be noted that Bertrand wrote in 2020 that the Hunter Biden story “is Russian disinfo.” Her claims about the Iranian nuclear facilities came as Trump and his administration have repeatedly called the operation a success.

“Natasha Bertrand should be FIRED from CNN! I watched her for three days doing Fake News,” Trump wrote in a Wednesday post. “She should be IMMEDIATELY reprimanded, and then thrown out ‘like a dog.’”

“She lied on the Laptop from Hell Story, and now she lied on the Nuclear Sites Story, attempting to destroy our Patriot Pilots by making them look bad when, in fact, they did a GREAT job and hit ‘pay dirt’ — TOTAL OBLITERATION!” he continued.

“She should not be allowed to work at Fake News CNN,” Trump added. “It’s people like her who destroyed the reputation of a once great Network. Her slant was so obviously negative, besides, she doesn’t have what it takes to be an on camera correspondent, not even close. FIRE NATASHA!”

Trump blasted media outlets as “scum” while at the NATO Summit this week.

CNN’s own interviews confirmed the destruction of the nuclear sites.

But the network fired back after criticism of Bertrand, only to be shredded by White House Communications Director Steven Cheung.

“CNN’s reporting made clear that this was an initial finding that could change with additional intelligence. We have extensively covered President Trump’s own deep skepticism about it,” the network said in its statement defending its reporter.
