President Donald J. Trump called for an investigation into Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) after the news broke that GOP lawmakers are probing how the Somali-born “Squad” member and her husband have amassed a $30 million fortune in recent years.
The America-hating Democrat has faced questions about her involvement in the “industrial scale fraud” that has been perpetrated by members of the Minneapolis Somali diaspora, a gargantuan scandal that has been knocked out of the headlines by the ongoing anti-ICE intifada in the Twin Cities.
“Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is worth over $30 Million Dollars,” Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social on Thursday. “There is no way such wealth could have been accumulated, legally, while being paid the salary of a politician. She should be investigated for Financial and Political Crimes, and that investigation should start, NOW!”

Trump’s support of an investigation into potential “financial and political crimes” comes as House Republicans are probing the “skyrocketing” wealth of Omar and Tim Mynett, with Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) telling the New York Post that staff lawyers are exploring the possibility of subpoenaing the congresswoman’s spouse.
“There are a lot of questions as to how her husband accumulated so much wealth over the past two years,” Comer told the paper. “It’s not possible. It’s not. I’m a money guy. It’s not possible.”
“I was told that Ilhan Omar is worth $30 million,” Trump said during a Tuesday press conference at the White House. “She never had a job. She’s a crooked congressman.”

The president has previously described Minneapolis, which includes Omar’s district, as “a hub of fraudulent money laundering activity” and has also been critical of Somalians, whom he called “garbage” who “complain and do nothing but bitch,” and has singled out the ethically-challenged congresswoman who allegedly married her brother on numerous occasions.
“Nobody talks about the fact that $19 billion, at a minimum, is missing in Minnesota, given to a large degree, but, by Somalians — they’ve taken it. Somalians. Can you imagine? And they don’t do it. A lot of very low-IQ people, they don’t do it. Other people work it out, and they get them money, and they go out and buy Mercedes-Benzes,” Trump also said during the Tuesday press briefing.
Omar is set to attend an anti-ICE rally in Minneapolis on Friday, keeping the attention focused on the efforts to resist the enforcement of federal illegal immigration policy and off of the Somali swindlers who have been looting taxpayers under the nose of Gov. Tim Walz’s administration, and likely in other Democrat-controlled cities too.

“She should be in jail, or even a worse punishment, sent back to Somalia, considered one of the absolutely worst countries in the World. She could help to MAKE SOMALIA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump said of Omar in another recent Truth Social post.
