Trump makes EPIC entrance to NFL game, drops by the booth

President Donald Trump took a “short trip” from the White House to Northwest Stadium in Maryland, where Air Force One thrilled the NFL crowd with an “epic” flyover.

The Washington Commanders vs. Detroit Lions game on Sunday was treated to the presence of the president, who dropped in at the football game to speak at the annual Veterans’ Day halftime service.

Trump spoke with reporters as he arrived, celebrating the “greatest flyover ever.”

“I just want to say, was that the greatest flyover ever?” he said, praising the pilot. “Nobody’s ever done a flyover like that. So, these are the best pilots in the world. They say, whoever flies Air Force One, the best pilots. And we just saw that.”

“Sunday’s game is the second time Trump has attended an NFL game in person,” according to Breitbart News. “The first was Super Bowl 59 in February. But this weekend’s game marks the first time a sitting president has attended a regular-season game in almost 50 years, since Jimmy Carter attended the Redskins’ 9-5 win over the Dallas Cowboys at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium on October 2, 1978.”

After arriving, the president headed to the owner’s box, where he could be seen waving to the Northwest Stadium crowd along with House Speaker Mike Johnson and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

During halftime at the Washington Commanders’ “Salute to Service” game, Trump took a few moments to swear in a group of newly enlisted men and women. Many on social media blasted those in the crowd who could be heard booing.

The president commented on the swearing-in and was even invited to call plays in the game.

As he left the game, the president gave a young fan his presidential challenge coin.

Earlier, during the first quarter of Sunday’s game, Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown joined teammates to do the “Trump dance” after scoring a touchdown.
