Trump points to favored treatment of pro-Palestine rioters, calls on MAGA to ‘PEACEFULLY PROTEST’

Former President Trump took to Truth Social on Monday to decry how unfair it is that pro-Palestinian protesters are allowed to spew hatred on college campuses but the area around his trial is completely closed off to his supporters.

“Why are Palestinian protesters, and even rioters, allowed to roam the Cities, scream, shout, sit, block traffic, enter buildings, not get permits, and basically do whatever they want including threatening Supreme Court Justices right in front of their homes, and yet people who truly LOVE our Country, and want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, are not allowed to ‘Peacefully Protest,’ and are rudely and systematically shut down and ushered off to far away ‘holding areas,’ essentially denying them their Constitutional Rights,” Trump justifiably railed.

“America Loving Protesters should be allowed to protest at the front steps of Courthouses, all over the Country, just like it is allowed for those who are destroying our Country on the Radical Left, a two tiered system of justice. Free Speech and Assembly has been ‘CHILLED’ for USA SUPPORTERS. GO OUT AND PEACEFULLY PROTEST. RALLY BEHIND MAGA. SAVE OUR COUNTRY! ‘THE ONLY THING YOU HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF,'” he urged.

The media immediately ran with it, accusing Trump of “whipping up” his MAGA base and calling for protests at courthouses across the country to compete with pro-Palestinian protesters. That does not appear to be what Trump meant at all. A number of pundits on the left are predictably comparing Trump’s call for peaceful protests to Jan. 6.

Trump also raged on Truth Social: “Unlike at Columbia University where the Radical Left Palestinian Protesters sat on the Front Lawn, practically took over the School, and screamed, ‘Death to the Jews, Death to Israel, Death to America,’ and nothing happened to them, Lower Manhattan surrounding the Courthouse, where I am heading now, is completely CLOSED DOWN. SO UNFAIR!!!”

Trump’s comments came just before the opening statements in the Stormy Daniels’ hush money trial. He is facing 34 counts of falsifying records with the intent to defraud or further another crime. District Attorney Alvin Bragg is using the most specious of tactics to tie charges together against Trump.

His comments blasted the case against him in New York City which many are calling brazen political persecution.

“Tomorrow morning I report to a New York Criminal Court for a Trial on, somewhat ironically, ELECTION INTERFERENCE, ruled over by Crooked Joe Biden’s DOJ, before a Corrupt and Highly Conflicted Judge, a failed Soros funded District Attorney who didn’t want to bring this case, which could have been brought eight years ago, but wasn’t, in an almost completely Democrat District,” Trump wrote, echoing many of the same claims he has made for months in the case which is being led by New York prosecutors, not the federal Department of Justice, as the former president pointed out.

In another post to his social media platform on Sunday, the presumptive 2024 Republican nominee blasted Bragg and his argument against the term “legal expense.”

“What other term would be more appropriate??? Believe it or not, this is the pretext under which I was Indicted, and that Legal Scholars and Experts CANNOT BELIEVE,” the former president asked. “It is also the perfect Crooked Joe Biden NARRATIVE – To be STUCK in a courtroom, and not be allowed to campaign for President of the United States!”

Trump’s trial in New York City takes place four days a week while convened and he is required to be there. It is expected to last several weeks. That is not stopping the former president – he is scheduling rallies on the weekends and the left will not silence him.
