Trump unleashes on ‘clubhouse politician’ Engoron after judgment: ‘Ruled against me before he even saw the case’

Former President Donald Trump tore into “whacked-out” Judge Arthur Engoron after the camera-hungry Engoron issued a ruling, fining the GOP frontrunner $350 million and barring him from operating his New York businesses for three years.

“A crooked New York judge working with the very corrupt attorney general of New York State, who ran on the basis of ‘I will get Trump’ before knowing me — before even knowing anything about me — just ruled that I have to pay a fine of $355 million based on absolutely nothing,” Trump told Fox News Digital shortly after the ruling. “No victims. No damages. Great financial statements, with full disclaimer clauses, only success.”

According to Trump, the “banks and insurance companies were thrilled — they made nothing but money.”

“No defaults,” he said, “no nothing, at a time when many banks are losing money.”

Engoron, the real estate mogul said, had his mind made up before the trial began.

“This is a witch hunt where the judge ruled against me before he even saw the case,” Trump said.

The judge “strongly stated that said Mar-a-Lago was worth $18 million- when it is worth anywhere from 50 to 100 times more than that,” he added.

As BizPac Review reported, in October of last year, Trump accused New York Attorney General Letitia James of “defrauding the public” over the value of Mar-a-Lago, calling the situation “disgraceful.”

“She said that Mar-a-Lago, she convinced the judge that Mar-a-Lago was worth — in Palm Beach, Florida, the most expensive land in the world, I guess, and the most expensive houses, definitely, in the world — that Mar-a-Lago’s biggest house, the most spectacular place in all of Florida was worth $18 million when it’s worth approximately — could be close to hundred times that amount,” Trump said at the time. “And based on that testimony and based on her convincing the judge that Mar-a-Lago was worth $18 million instead of $1 billion to $1.5 billion, which would sell very easily, which we’ve already proven but we’ll have people come up and say that to prove it, the most important people, the brokers that make the sale, but based on that he ruled against me, he ruled fraud. I mean, he said fraud.”

Engoron, he told Fox News Digital Friday, has “already been overturned on this case four times — a record.”

“I built a great company and now this whacked-out clubhouse politician judge bars me for three years,” Trump fumed.

The case “should have gone to the commercial division,” he said, but Engoron “wouldn’t allow it to happen.”

The entire case, he claimed, is about “election interference.”

Engoron, Trump said, “is a political hack working in conjunction with a crooked attorney general in the greatest case of election interference anyone has ever seen in this country.”

The former president denied the judge’s claim that, during the trial, he “rarely responded to the questions asked, and he frequently interjected long, irrelevant speeches on issues far beyond the scope of the trial.”

In his 92-page ruling, Engoron wrote that Trump’s “refusal to answer the questions directly, or in some cases, at all, severely compromised his credibility.”

“I answered the questions very directly and the financial statements speak for themselves — they are fantastic financial statements,” Trump stated.

“He is just a clubhouse politician,” he said, adding, “This country is becoming worse than Russia ever was.”

“They are doing this because I am beating Biden in the polls by so much,” Trump insisted. “They are trying to stop me, but they will not be successful.”

“I’m fighting for America,” Trump said. “I’m fighting for the people.”

Speaking to the press following the ruling, Trump vowed to “make America great again.”

“This is Russia, this is China,” he stated. “This is what you’ve been reading about all your lives and it’s happening right here in our country.”

“We will stop it,” Trump promised. “We will make America great again. You have my word.”
