‘What stocks should I buy?’ Comedian trolls Nancy Pelosi at book signing, feels wrath of security detail

Comedian Alex Strenger decked out in a black COVID mask and a Bernie Sanders baseball cap trolled former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi at a book signing and got manhandled by her security detail for it.

The New York Post said he was “escorted” but it looked more like he was assaulted and hauled away from Pelosi after asking her what stocks he should buy.

Claiming he feared Trump while proclaiming the former president should be locked away forever, eliciting a smile from Pelosi, the conservative comedian then heckled her over her obscenely lucrative stock trading, branding her “the greatest options trader of all time.”

Strenger approached Pelosi as she was signing her book “The Art of Power” at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin on Saturday. The title suspiciously sounds like a play on Trump’s “The Art of the Deal.” He posted a clip of the altercation on Sunday.

The comedian reportedly attempted to pass himself off as a sycophantic Democrat named “Noah,” according to the New York Post.

“I’m a UTA candidate. I was listening. I wasn’t able to get a book, sold out, but I want to say how much I appreciate your, like, fierce, staunch defending of democracy,” Strenger said to Pelosi, telling her that it “really means so, so much, you know?”

That was when he laid it on thick about fearing Trump, claiming he was “really scared about… Donald Trump winning the election.”

“And honestly, with all the disinformation on X, like, you know, I honestly, the only chance, like, that we have is for Donald Trump to spend the rest of his life in prison,” Strenger outrageously stated.

He went on to assert that throwing Trump in prison was “the only hope for democracy,” and then said, “We just have to win the election.”

Smiling, Pelosi wholeheartedly agreed, saying, “We do.”

Then he trolled the powerful Democrat, “What stocks should I buy?” and that smile just melted away.

“Nancy, you’re the greatest options trader of all time,” he contended. “I just want to know what stocks I should buy. What I just want to know, like, what’s your biggest concern?”

Enter Pelosi’s security detail, forcibly removing Strenger who snarked as he was being hauled away, “The police are an instrumental institution of white supremacy and racism. I don’t understand why they are even here at all. They should be defunded.”

Pelosi “makes six figures a year in Congress and has a hundred million dollar net worth,” the comedian stated. “Don’t y’all want to know what stocks she should buy? Come on. I just want to know. I just want to know what stocks to buy. I want to close the wealth gap. What’s the problem? I just want to close the wealth gap.”

Pelosi is part of a very wealthy and powerful family. Her husband Paul Pelosi founded a real estate and venture capitalist firm.

“In June 2021, Paul Pelosi exercised call options in Microsoft just before the company was awarded a lucrative defense contract from the US government. The next year, Paul Pelosi purchased shares of AI chipmaker Nvidia just as Congress was set to vote on the CHIPS Act, which provided significant government subsidies to the semiconductor industry,” the New York Post wrote.

“The Pelosis’ stock portfolio includes shares in blue-chip tech firms such as Apple, Amazon, Meta, Tesla, and Alphabet. Last year alone, Pelosi’s stock options gained more than 65%, according to an analysis,” the media outlet further noted.

You might remember Strenger from the DNC.

Pelosi may not have enjoyed the trolling but users on X sure did:
