A reboot of “The Wizard of Oz” that will infuse the beloved 1939 film with modern era values is reportedly in the works and is already being panned by social media critics.
In their determination to ruin everything by reimagining timeless classics for “woke” audiences, Hollywood leftists are developing a retelling of the story of Dorothy, Toto, and friends for Prime Video as a “metaphor for the challenges and choices facing young adults today,” reported Deadline, which first broke the news.

According to the showbiz news outlet, producer Gina Matthews has “Dorothy” in development for Amazon’s video streaming service. The project also involves celebs Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, among others, as executive producers.
“I’ve been in love with The Wizard of Oz books since I was a child,” Matthews said. “The story reminds us of the qualities we need to get through hard times, and Dorothy is a symbol of strength who shows us that with a little kindness — and a lot of grit — we can not only achieve great things but also lift up those around us. I’m excited to bring that message to the world, now more than ever.”
The early reviews don’t bode well for the latest update to the enduring classic that was enjoyed by generations before the onset of the “woke” mind virus.

Her creativity and perspective are such a natural fit for this project.”
“It’s a creative and modern take on a classic, and being part of something that blends music, emotion, and the character of Dorothy is inspiring to me,” Stefani said.
Amazon Prime’s other reboots, including “The Lord Of The Rings” and “War Of The Worlds,” have also been savaged, but the studio seems determined to give “woke” Netflix a run for its money.
