‘Can I put my pants on?’ CNN ‘obtains’ footage of raid on Trump DOJ lawyer made to stand in his driveway in underwear

It’s bad enough that the Justice Department appears to have become a preferred weapon of choice for the Biden administration to target political opponents, but to embarrass the person singled out is a whole other step.

In the latest remarkable score that suggests an intimate, if not nefarious relationship, CNN has obtained footage of the early morning raid federal agents carried out at the home of former Department of Justice lawyer Jeffrey Clark — recall that the network was actually ON HAND when longtime Trump ally Roger Stone’s home was raided.

Clark denounced the “Stasi-like” raid last week during an appearance on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” saying it was a “highly politicized” raid in connection with the Jan. 6 inquisition motivated by him daring to question the impact voter fraud may have had on the 2020 election.

In the footage, Clark is seen answering the door in a dress shirt and boxers when federal agents came knocking early on the morning of June 22:

“Can you step outside with me? We have a search warrant and we need to speak to you,” a female agent who said she was with the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General can be heard telling Clark in the video. “So can I get you to step outside for me?”

“Can I call my lawyer?” Clark asked.

“Let’s step outside,” the agent replied, before a police officer interjected, “Just real quick, we’ve got to clear the house, make sure you’re safe.”

He then asked if he could put on some pants and was told they have to clear the house.

“We’re going to clear the house, and as soon as we clear the house we’ll get you talk to your lawyer and we’ll get some pants on, OK?” the agent said

“Can I open the garage and stand in the garage?” Clark asked, not wanting to stand in his driveway in his boxers.

“It’s a search warrant. Please, step outside now,” the officer insisted, before telling him, “Stand behind the cars and no one will see you.”

Clark is then heard protesting, “There’s no reason for this.”

The former DOJ official detailed the raid during his interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

“At one point 12 agents and two Fairfax County Police Officers went into my house, searched it for 3.5 hours,” he said. “They took all of the electronics from my house.”

“I just think we’re living in an era that I don’t recognize and, increasingly, I don’t recognize the country anymore with these Stasi-like things happening,” Clark added.
