Daughter of Trump hating NY judge is influential leftist, part of effort to kick him off Colorado ballot

Former President Trump’s New York trial judge’s daughter was reportedly part of the effort by a leftist group that sought to have him removed from the ballot for the 2024 election in Colorado.

Loren Merchan runs Authentic Campaigns, which is a digital marketing and fundraising agency that caters primarily to Democrats such as Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) who is a high-profile client of hers. The company was allegedly part of the attempt to strip Trump from ballots in Colorado, a move that was unanimously shot down by the Supreme Court, according to NPR.

“A company run by the daughter of the judge overseeing former President Donald Trump’s current New York case works for left-wing legal groups behind efforts to keep President Trump [off] of the 2024 ballot and Chinese Communist Party-funded influence groups,” War Room reported.

“Among the newly revealed clients of Judge Merchan’s daughter are the Brennan Center, which has filed lawsuits against the Trump administration and campaign over a dozen times, and the Asia Society,” the media outlet added.

The Brennan Center for Justice has received significant donations from leftist philanthropist George Soros over the years as well as being instrumental in trying to remove Trump from the Colorado ballot ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

The group filed an amicus brief with SCOTUS in its effort to have Trump removed from the state’s ballot due to claims that he incited an insurrection on January 6th. They failed and Trump was put back on the ballot.

“Authentic Campaigns appears to have worked for Brennan Center since at least 2023, with the group still listed as an active client. In addition to expanding the group’s online presence and following, Authentic Campaigns also helped ‘seamlessly transition these engaged readers into grassroots donors, thereby augmenting the organization’s funding and capacity to drive change,'” War Room noted.

“Authentic embarked on a meticulously crafted journey to not only identify and acquire new subscribers but also to galvanize them into becoming active, contributing donors to the Brennan Center’s mission. We honed in on target audiences with a demonstrated affinity for progressive and pro-democracy causes as well as social justice nonprofit engagement, ensuring that our outreach was as resonant as it was expansive,” Authentic Campaigns boasts on its site.

It appears that Authentic Campaigns and Loren Merchan are deeply involved with Democratic activists such as the Brennan Center for Justice.

“Authentic Campaign’s work for the Brennan Center appears to have been centered on elections, with sample ads and campaigns on the firm’s website focusing on themes such as how to ‘protect election officials’ and hammering how ‘they couldn’t take our Capitol. Now they’re coming for our democracy,'” the War Room wrote.

The Asia Society, which is another client of Authentic Campaigns, evidently has communist-Chinese ties. Authentic Campaigns has worked with the group since 2023.

“The group is a pro-China lobby group that sponsors several Chinese Communist Party-funded Confucius Institutes across the United States. These controversial institutes are propaganda centers – notoriously rife with espionage activity – that operated extensively on college campuses until President Trump cracked down on their presence in American schools. What’s more, Confucius Institutes have a counterpart called ‘Confucius Classrooms,’ which focus on spreading their pro-communism and pro-China message to students in elementary through high school,” the War Room explained.

In light of Judge Merchan’s daughter’s political involvement, he has been asked to recuse himself from Trump’s case. However, he has refused.

“Loren Merchan’s company has also received around $500,000 from the Arizona Democratic Party and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s ‘Fight Like Hell’ PAC, as well as around $4 million from Rep Adam Schiff,” the Post Millenial reported.
