Dave Portnoy wasn’t through ripping George Clooney as the Hollywood elitist’s turn on President Joe Biden raised a colorful question.
“…has he wiped the blood off the knife yet?”

As with First Lady Jill Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and administration officials, the suggestion that anyone close to the president was unaware of the current state of his mental faculties was, at the very least, implausible. So, the two-time Academy Award-winner shifting from surrogate to separatist in a matter of days had the Barstool Sports founder slamming the sell on “saving democracy.”
Joining the co-hosts of Fox News “Fox & Friends” Tuesday morning, Portnoy reacted to the statement Clooney released endorsing Harris as the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.
“Well, first thing, that Clooney quote — has he wiped the blood off the knife yet? I mean, that is unbelievable. He’s saving democracy by stepping — you assassinated, in a political sense, Biden,” he argued suggesting the left had figuratively thrown the president down the stairs.
The actor released a statement to CNN that read, “President Biden has shown what true leadership is. He’s saving democracy once again. We’re all so excited to do whatever we can to support Vice President Harris in her historic quest.”

Previously, Portnoy had ripped the actor who’d helped fundraise for the incumbent after the release of an op-ed in the New York Times that stated the obvious on Biden’s mental faculties.
“I love Joe Biden. As a senator. As a vice president and as president. I consider him a friend, and I believe in him. Believe in his character. Believe in his morals. In the last four years, he’s won many of the battles he’s faced,” stated Clooney. “But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can. It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe ‘big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010.”
After he continued calling for the president to bow out, Portnoy reacted in part, “He talks about dead people like he had lunch with them yesterday. He can’t f*cking ride his bike without falling down. He can’t get up and down f*cking Air Force One without taking a tumble. No sh*t he’s a vegetable. He’s been a vegetable for two f*cking years. Democrats don’t care.”
The commentator further lashed out Tuesday about how the left had cheated voters out of the opportunity to pick their candidate as he said, “There is a lot of independents and people in the middle who would have loved the opportunity to potentially vote for a Democratic candidate that wasn’t Kamala or Joe and they stole that because this inner circle wants the power to hand pick.”
“You stole democracy! You didn’t let an entire party have a primary and decide who they wanted to run for president,” he raged against the pearl-clutchers who repeatedly swoon over the “threat” posed by former President Donald Trump.
Portnoy further suggested Democrats may have injured themselves by keeping voters out of the process as he contended, “I’m not an automatic write-in Trump guy. If I liked the Democratic candidate, I would have been interested in seeing what they have to say, but they didn’t even give anybody that opportunity.”
