Some “woke” Disney employees have threatened to continue walking out and striking unless Disney acquiesces to a huge list of demands, including one reportedly pertaining to two upcoming roller coasters.
One demand specifically calls for Disney “stopping construction and investment” in the state of Florida until the Parental Rights in Education Bill is “repealed.”
According to Fox Business Network, if Disney caves to the protesters — which hasn’t happened yet but is expected to play out eventually — they’ll have to halt the ongoing construction of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Tron roller coasters at Disney World.
“The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind’ was slated to open this summer at Disney’s EPCOT, according to Disney. Despite not yet having an official opening date, a ride based on the movie ‘Tron’ had already started running tests,” Fox Business reported Wednesday.
Below is more information about Guardians of the Galaxy:
And below is more information about Tron:
To be clear, the full list of demands extends beyond just these two roller coasters.
Outlined in a press release published by the official walkout group last week, the demands call for Disney to cease all donations to 22 presumably all-Republican politicians, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The demands also call for Disney to stop trying to relocate its employees to its “Florida office locations.” And for those employees already in Florida, Disney must “create an employee resource group specializing in helping LGBTQ+ families navigate the state’s political and educational climate, and partner with other local groups for additional employee resources.”
In addition, Disney must “reaffirm” its commitment to radical LGBT ideology and “take responsibility for their inaction to protect the rights of LGBTQIA+ children and their families by making substantial contributions to The Trevor Project, Trans Lifeline, and other human rights advocacy groups in an effort to regain our trust in the company’s inclusion and equality efforts.”

These demands come in the wake of Democrats’ and their media allies’ dishonest attack on Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill, which does nothing more than prohibit classroom discussions on sex/gender that are age-inappropriate.
The media, which some critics claim are nothing more than an arm of the Democrat Party, have been echoing the false Democrat Party’s false talking points about the bill, going so far as to even use their nickname for it — the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
The so-called “fact-checkers” meanwhile have allowed this false narrative to spread to every corner of the country.

Speaking on his weekday radio program two weeks ago, conservative commentator Ben Shapiro expressed shock at the level of deceit being perpetrated by the press.
“This would be the equivalent to if Democrats passed some sort of bill in the state of New York that enshrined abortion until the ninth month … and the Republicans had termed this the ‘Kill the Babies’ bill … and the entire media had immediately started using that language, every headline had started using that language. That would demonstrate that the media were just lapdogs for the Republican Party,” he said.
Except in this case, he added, “they have done that with the Democrat talking point with regard to the so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill.” Shapiro then proceeded to list some headlines from purportedly respectable mainstream outlets repeating the Democrats’ talking point.
“So for example, the [Associated Press], this is just a straight headline. … It says, ”Don’t Say Gay’ Bill Passes In Florida, Goes To Governor.’ That’s not the name of the bill. This is like if Republicans had labeled Build Back Better “Giant Waste Of Money Pork Barrel Spending Bullcrap” bill and that had been the headline of an AP article,” he said.
Putting it all together, he concluded that the fact that both the media and the so-called “fact-checkers” simply “reflect whatever the [Democrat Party] propaganda point of the day is truly astonishing.”
In fact, some argue that the walkouts are a direct consequence of this false reporting, in that there would have been no walkouts had the media not joined with Democrats to lie incessantly about Florida’s education bill:
You need only read the bill to see @thedemocrats, media, and liberal sycophants are lying to you. Disney employees across US walk out over so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill. Some parents feel better already. via @BIZPACReview – https://t.co/RyC7Um0B5C

Even now, the media continue to be dishonest by portraying the ongoing walkouts as some sort of gigantic, widespread movement, when in reality the protests have been relatively “tiny.”

Media headlines about the “Disney walkout” includes some variation of “Massive Walkout” or “Disney In Turmoil After Walkout”
A quick head count shows a SINGLE people walking out in Florida.
If I include EVERYWHERE else it was about 120 or so

“60 to 70 Disney employees briefly walked a loop around Disney Studios…although they seemed outnumbered, at least at one point, by members of the media.”

Yet despite the size of the walkouts, Disney has already begun making concessions, and according to critics, it’s all due to false narratives.
The CEO is listening to 200 employees rather than shareholders over an issue of parental rights. Democrats have pushed a false narrative. Disney has better wake-up and remember parents pay for hospitality services, tickets to movies, parks, monthly subscriptions.
