A longtime fan favorite at Disneyland is getting an update for today’s overly sensitive times with a scene in a classic attraction being culturally cleansed so as to not hurt the feelings of the thin-skinned.
Peter Pan’s Flight has provided much enjoyment for families since it debuted on opening day in 1955 but with the company spearheading the “woke” overhaul of America, it has been deemed too controversial to exist as it has for the last seven decades.
The update will remove the offensive Native American “stereotypes” from the “Never Land Tribe scene” which has featured an Indian chief in a full feathered headdress next to drumbeating braves and the female character Tiger Lily.
In the revamped version, the chief has been canceled with the drummers being updated to appear more “benign” with Tiger Lily and her mother now dancing in the animatronic scene.

“One portion of the ride is getting a makeover, however. The so-called ‘Never Land Tribe scene,’ which has for decades featured a chief in a headdress alongside drumming braves and a seated Tiger Lily, will now feature more benign-looking drummers and a more active Tiger Lily dancing alongside her grandmother. The chief is gone entirely,” Deadline reported.
“Imagineers have a longstanding history of making updates and enhancements to attractions and experiences, so they remain fresh and relevant. We consider ourselves constant learners and as we identify ways that can make our attractions and experiences more authentic and relatable, and our stories connect more deeply to our guests, we make thoughtful changes,” company officials explained in a statement to KTLA.
The changes which have already been introduced at Disney World near Orlando, FL will also be implemented at the theme park in Anaheim, CA, updating one of the park’s remaining original attractions.
X users weighed in on the cultural scrubbing of the longtime attraction.

The House of Mouse has also overhauled its Pirates of the Caribbean to modify a “sexist” scene depicting a bride auction and shut down the Splash Mountain attraction because some people claimed that it was racist for scenes depicting the company’s 1946 animated feature film “Song of the South.”
Another casualty of the Disney thought police was the Peter Pan character Tinkerbell with it being deemed that the problematic pixie could be inflicting mental trauma upon young girls and was axed from the meet and greet.
Tinker bell is now “problematic”

“Tinkerbell, unfortunately, has become a problematic image for our guests; specifically, young girls. Specifically, in terms of the portrayal of an unrealistic body image as well as dependency of approval and/or attention from Peter Pan, as seen in previous incarnations of the character,” an unnamed Disney exec was quoted. “We feel these traits are no longer representative of our inclusive focused values and thus, are currently in the process of redesigning an updated Tinkerbell for modern audiences.”
The days when Disney used to put out family-friendly entertainment that was beloved by generations of Americans have receded into the past now that the company is fully invested in the “woke” left-wing cultural revolution.
