Fearmongers were left salivating the potential of “no way out” for former President Donald Trump should he lose to Vice President Kamala Harris amid histrionics about a “series of January 6ths.”

Straight out of the “threat to democracy” playbook, ramped up rhetoric continued to show members of the “intelligence” community presenting Trump as a danger to the Republic even as Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg had confirmed the censorship pressures prior to the 2020 election.
Appearing on SiriusXM’s “The Dean Obeidallah Show,” NBC News National Security Contributor and former assistant director for counterintelligence for the FBI Frank Figliuzzi played his part in the panic porn with projections about the president’s mindset.
“If Trump loses, then he’s going to face trial in federal court and potentially Georgia as well, where if he’s convicted there, where there was already convictions, he likely goes to jail or at least confinement at home,” said Obeidallah. “Like, it’s not just losing — about ego — it’s about a loss of liberty he is facing.”
The host then asked, “What would be like a real red flag that we should really be deeply concerned that he’s leading us to a path to more January 6th, maybe a series of January 6ths?”
“So…he’s more concerned than ever. You’re right on the money with regard to the fact that he has no way out here….absent winning the presidency,” argued Figliuzzi, adopting the “walls are closing in” mentality that Trump’s fate was all but sealed. “That makes him more dangerous, more cornered than ever before. Adam Kinzinger…former Republican congressman, has pointed this out just in the last 48 hours. It’s not unique thinking.”
“Listen carefully to some things he said this week with…Jack Smith coming out with a new streamlined indictment in the election case. He actually said — Trump actually said [Vice President] Kamala Harris is behind this. Like, Kamala Harris can reach into the special counsel’s office and rewrite an indictment. What the hell!?” exclaimed the former special agent.
“So, he’s linking her now to his fate. And the more he does that, the more likely we are to see people treating her and [Minnesota Gov. Tim] Walz as the enemy, as ripe for and as meriting violence,” contended Figliuzzi. “My big concern, Dean, is not the iconic attack necessarily on the Capitol, because they’ll be prepared for that in Washington. I’m concerned about what’s viewed as the softer targets in the states and counties and voting precincts that really matter.”
“And when they’re counting the votes and when it’s going to be close — and boy is it going to be close — I’m really concerned about whether the states and counties are prepared for what’s coming,” he added as they proceeded to dream up a scenario where supporters of the president would make an attempt to destroy ballots on election day.
“It remains to be seen, ’cause there’s arguments in the intelligence community about…whether he continues to have a hold over a lot of people that would act out violently — I say it’s obvious, ’cause we keep arresting people — but, you know, whether an organized effort would gel knowing the chilling effect of the arrests for January 6th, knowing you’re likely going to prison — could he actually organize something?” wondered Figliuzzi. “Or are we talking about small cells; two, three knuckleheads who actually could really do some damage?”
To that end, Obeidallah turned the dial to 11 as he said, “Oklahoma City. Look at how deadly that was.”
