Fox Business reporter Susan Li is feeling left out.
Following yet another Twitter poll, Elon Musk lifted on Saturday suspensions and restored the accounts of several journalists who had doxxed his locations in real-time, in violation of the platform’s newly established rules, but Li’s account remains suspended.
The journalist appeared on Fox News’ “Cavuto Live” with Neil Cavuto on Saturday morning to plead her case and deny that Musk, whose child was recently cornered in a car by what the billionaire called a “crazy stalker,” was ever doxxed in the first place.

According to Li, she was simply covering the suspensions of journalists such as The New York Times’ Ryan Mac, CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan, and The Washington Post’s Drew Harwell when she, too, was booted from the platform.
She began her investigation into the story by looking into the service young Jack Sweeney, owner of the ElonJet account that started the saga, used to track Musk’s private plane.
“In the course of my reporting covering the suspension of Twitter accounts, all of them tweeted or retweeted links to the ElonJet account,” Li explained, “so I wanted to do my own due diligence and track the sourcing and the triangulation the ElonJet account used to track the coordinates of Elon Musk’s private jet.”
Li cited several reports in the media that said Sweeney used ADS-B Exchange, which bills itself as “the world’s largest public source of unfiltered flight data.”
“So I went on the ADS-B Exchange,” she continued. “I typed in– I Googled the tail number of Elon Musk’s private jet, and it was pretty easy to figure it out– and again, this is publicly available information.”
It should be noted that this statement from Li directly contradicts one from Musk, who said on Twitter on Thursday, “My plane is actually not trackable without using non-public data.”

Li said she contacted the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and asked, “is there really a way to mitigate privacy for private jets.”
“They told us pretty much no,” Li said, “because of the Freedom of Information Act, and, also, they pointed to numerous accounts as well and websites that do have this publicly available information to track private jets, not just Elon Musk’s, but look at Bill Gates’ and Mark Zuckerberg’s plane as well.”
Li said she checked Twitter’s doxxing policy and found that sharing publicly available information isn’t considered doxxing.
It was after she tweeted this information, she claims, that she was swept up in the suspension storm.
“I found myself [with] the same suspension — permanently banned!” she said. “It hasn’t been lifted as of yet this morning.”
Cavuto asked if there could “have been anything else that could have motivated this?” to which Li replied, “You mean my personality?”
The Fox host then suggested that Li’s past criticism of Musk “might have played a role” in her account’s continued suspension.
She replied by calling Musk a “brilliant” entrepreneur, then slamming him for tweeting while Tesla investors are “staring down 50% losses on their holdings and two-year lows on their stock.”
Musk, she says, is “spending all of this time on Twitter, pretty much all of his time, instead of focusing on, I guess, building up demand once again since there is a demand issue, if they’re offering incentives for those electric cars.”
“They’re wondering themselves, whether or not he can find somebody else to take over Twitter quickly as CEO and maybe focus his attention on a car company that’s worth $500 billion, and it dipped below that mark for the first time in two years this week.”
Over on Twitter, Li’s suspension and subsequent appearance on Cavuto aren’t earning her many fans, with many believing she’s not the fearless reporter she and Cavuto claim she is. Indeed, she’s being characterized as opportunistic and “pathetic.”
“Susan Li on Fox Business got jealous of all the attention that the journos suspended for doxxing Elon Musk got, so she decided to replicate their doxxing. And got suspended herself,” tweeted one user. “Which is exactly what she wanted, since she’s on with Cavuto this morning talking about it.”
“She’s pathetic,” stated another user, to which the original poster replied, “Totally transparent what she did.”
