Fed-up Geraldo sets David Frum straight on claim Fox News supports Putin’s war: ‘F**k you’

The Atlantic’s David Frum got his Fox News bashing fix in on Monday when he took to Twitter to claim the network’s employees support the Russian invasion of Ukraine — an allegation that didn’t sit well with Geraldo Rivera.

Never mind that there are a whole smattering of views on the Ukraine war voiced on Fox News, with plenty of on-air voices calling for the full support of the Ukrainian military, with Sean Hannity and Jesse Watters key among them. Some have even called for the U.S. government to establish a no-fly zone over the Eastern European country.

“I’m trying to recall a single instance of a resignation of conscience at Fox News over the network’s support for Putin’s war. Marina Ovsyannikova risked life and liberty to tell her viewers the truth,” Frum tweeted. “Is there one wealthy Fox director or employee willing to forgo a single check?”

A clearly irritated Rivera fired back, “F*ck you. You don’t know me. Do you even have a job?”

(Marina Ovsyannikova is the former Russian state TV employee who bravely interrupted a live broadcast while holding a sign reading, “NO WAR,” telling viewers, “No war. Stop the war. Don’t believe the propaganda, they’re lying to you.”)

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter, to include those who took exception to Geraldo River’s language — apparently we now have a 7-year-old dropping the F-bomb on his babysitter: (** Language warning)
