U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) can sleep a little easier tonight.
A Georgia man who reportedly threatened to “shoot her in the f*****g head and kill her” has been arrested and charged with using communications devices to make threats — a felony.
Sean Patrick Cirillo, 34, allegedly dialed Greene’s office and threatened to kill her, her family, and her staff. Greene shared the disturbing recording with CNN. It has since been released by other outlets.
After claiming to be a “major donor,” Cirillo stated, “I got a bead on her. Like, a sniper rifle. And I’m going to murder her. I’m going to shoot her in the f*****g head and kill her, okay? Call the FBI, okay? I’m going to kill this c**t.”
“Tell her,” Cirillo insisted. “I’ll kill you too, if you want.”

Asked by a commendably calm staffer where he was calling from, Cirillo, who is from Macon, Georgia, exploded with a string of expletives.
“I’m calling from f*** yourself you f*****,” Cirillo replied. “F*** your party! Your grandchildren are gonna f****** die! Die! Die!”
The staffer asked the unhinged suspect, “Are you coming here now? Are you on your way?”
“You f****** sellout c***, you little dick f****** white boy c***. You little dick f****** white boy!” Cirillo shouted back. “Taking money! Taking money! You little b*tch! You don’t think you’re gonna get payback? You’re gonna die! Your family is gonna die! C***. You don’t think it’s gonna happen when you’re out of power?”
In a written statement to CNN, Greene thanked law enforcement for their swift response.
“I want to thank every single member of law enforcement who acted swiftly in response to this murderous threat,” Greene wrote. “From Rome City Police, the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Capitol Police, the House Sergeant at Arms, and ultimately the FBI who made the arrest, every official acted quickly to put this man behind bars.”
“I’m not the only victim with this threat of violence,” the outspoken lawmaker continued. “My family is threatened. My staff is threatened. I even had to close my district office due to the potential of violence. It’s wrong and never should happen.”
Greene is no stranger to having her sense of safety smashed.
Last year, her house was “swatted” on more than one occasion.

In August 2022, a man who falsely identified himself as “Wayne Greene” provided MTG’s home address to a suicide crisis center during a social media interaction, reportedly saying that he had recently come out as a transgender and was ready to kill himself and his family.
Police responded to the fake 911 emergency, arriving at Greene’s home at around 3 am. It was the second night in a row that she’d been the target of such a malicious, dangerous “prank.”
Never one to back down from a fight, Greene went on “War Room” with Steve Bannon and discussed the incidents.
“They are trying to have me murdered,” she said of “the Left.”
“They are trying to get me killed,” Greene said, “and sometimes they’re trying to kill me themselves with their own death threats and they’re being arrested for trying to do that.”
