Here’s the reaction to ‘Squad’ member Cori Bush being flushed by Democrat voters

The long national nightmare of Rep. Cori Bush’s congressional career is finally over after voters hit the flush button on the race-baiting BLM activist in Missouri’s Democratic Party primary.

On Tuesday, the “Squad” member was thumped in Missouri’s 1st Congressional District, losing decisively to St. Louis County prosecutor Wesley Bell who had the backing of the powerful American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) which was determined to defeat her over Bush’s anti-Israel, pro-Hamas stance.

After a contentious and costly race that broke for Bell in recent weeks, voters spanked Bush 51-46 in the contest that was called by the Associated Press at 11:00 pm on Tuesday night.

“I am absolutely honored and humbled to be the Democratic candidate for Congress from this 1st District,” Bell told a joyous crowd at the Marriott St. Louis Grand downtown.

“I am committed to serving the St. Louis region in Congress with integrity, transparency, and dedication,” the winner said in a statement. “Together, we will tackle the challenges ahead and build a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”

The loser vowed to continue her fight for the cause during a fiery concession speech.

“All you did was take some of the strings off,” Bush said. “All they did was radicalize me.”

Bush is the second member of AOC’s “Squad” to be booted by voters this year. Pro-Hamas ticking time bomb and infamous fire alarm puller Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) was stomped by pro-Israel Democrat George Latimer by 17 points in his own primary back in June.

Reactions to the Bush beatdown rolled in from X users.

There was the usual blaming of the Jews for her defeat.

Last week, a desperate Bush accused AIPAC of doctoring ads to “racistly” distort her appearance, once again going to the trusty race card, but this time it didn’t save her.

“This is only the beginning,” the vanquished “Squad” member told the Associated Press. “Because if they can unseat me, then they’re going to continue to come after more Democrats.”

“This district is ready for better and more accountable representation in Washington, D.C.,” Bell said at the victory party, a breath of fresh air for voters who were tired of Bush’s antics. “Progressives should actually make progress. And that’s what I’ve done my entire career.”
