A tuxedo-clad Hunter Biden was seen schmoozing with celebrities at the annual Kennedy Center Honors events on Sunday night, joining actor George Clooney and U2 band members in the East Room of the White House ahead of the show. But when it came to questions about GOP probes, his “laptop from hell,” and the recent release of the “Twitter Files” by Elon Musk, the scandal-ridden first son simply smiled and walked away, refusing to respond.

In addition to U2, led by singer/activist Bono, and “Ocean’s Eleven” star, Clooney, iconic soul singer Gladys Knight, singer-songwriter Amy Grant, and composer, conductor, and educator Tania León were honored.
It was a star-studded event, with Garth Brooks, Matt Damon, and Katie Couric among the attendees.

Hunter, accompanied by his wife, Melissa Cohen, took a seat in the back of the room on Sunday, where reporters were gathered not far away, reports Geoff Earle, for DailyMail.com.
Seizing upon a rare opportunity to question the younger Biden, two reporters asked Hunder about Musk’s decision to post the “Twitter Files,” which exposed internal pre-Musk documents detailing efforts to censor stories about the contents of Hunter’s laptop.

He was also questioned about the GOP probe that incoming House Oversight Committee chair James Comer has vowed will soon result in a subpoena for Hunter, in connection to his shady overseas business deals, specifically with China and Ukraine.

That’s when Hunter flashed a smile and slinked off.
The younger Biden arrived at the event with former D.C. Police Officer Michael Fanone, of January 6 fame, Earle reported.
As BizPac Review reported in November, this is the man who ditched his job at the Capitol in favor of a cushy gig as a CNN contributor.
He recently fantasized about tuning up former President Donald Trump while arresting him while speaking on “The Dean Obeidallah Show.”
“Oh, I love it,” Fanone said. “I hope he resists!”

Hunter Biden and Cohen then sat next to Gladys Knight in the president’s box at the Kennedy Center along with his stepmother, first lady Jill Biden to enjoy the festivities.
While Hunter may have had nothing to say about it, President Biden has commented on the GOP’s promise to investigate his son.
Speaking to the press in November, the president openly mocked the Republicans’ efforts, calling it “comedy.”
“Lots of luck in your senior year, as my coach used to say,” he quipped.
“Look, I think the American public want us to move on and get things done for them,” he continued. “And, you know, I heard that there were — it was reported, whether it’s accurate or not, I’m not sure, but it was reported many times that Republicans were saying and the former president said, ‘How many times are you gonna impeach Biden? You know, impeachment proceeding against — I mean, I think the American people will look at all of that for what it is: It’s just almost comedy.”
“I can’t control what they are going to do,” he said, “All I can do is continue to try to make life better for the American people.”
