‘I had to do what I had to do’: Pelosi admits to strong-arming Biden out of race

While the Democrats would like Americans to believe that President Joe Biden gracefully bowed out of the race for the good of the nation, a quip might have partially revealed the truth.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was speaking to CNN’s Jake Tapper and Dana Bash during the Democratic National Convention when the topic turned to Biden dropping out of the race. A seemingly frustrated Pelosi addressed the topic by beginning her response with “I had to do what I had to do.”

Watch:

“I had to do what I had to do. He made the decision for the country,” she corrected. “My concern was not about the president, it was about his campaign.”
