‘I’ll send you my address’: Tucker Carlson responds to Dan Crenshaw saying he’d ‘f***ing kill him’ on hot mic

Hot mic “homicidal” remarks from a sitting congressman were readily met by an invitation from commentator Tucker Carlson: “I’ll send you my address…”

Be it musician John Rich, X’s Catturd, or a myriad of conservative voices on social media, few appeared to get under the skin of Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R) as much as the man credited with nicknaming him “Eyepatch McCain.” That was evidenced when the former U.S. Navy SEAL was caught threatening to “f*cking kill” the popular and unfazed commentator.

Having sat with GBNews correspondent Steven Edginton, a clip of the interview went viral Monday where the question, “Have you ever met Tucker?” was met with the response, “We’ve talked a lot on Twitter. If I ever meet him I’ll f*cking kill him. He’s the worst person.”

In addition to a habit of taking positions opposing conservatives, Crenshaw has a history of butting heads with Carlson whom he referred to as a “click-chaser.”

However, the viral moment went beyond the norm for social media scuffles and had Elon Musk begging the question, “Why is Crenshaw homicidal regarding Tucker?”

Ready to get to the bottom of it face to face, Carlson responded to Musk’s question with a direct proposal to the Lone Star State lawmaker, “Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do? I’ll send you my address, @DanCrenshawTX.”

Despite the video where the congressman could be heard plainly stating his animus toward the commentator, Crenshaw reacted “lol, no” to a post from Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) who shared the quote from Edginton with the question, “@DanCrenshawTX did you threaten to kill my friend @TuckerCarlson?”

The GBNews correspondent brought accusations that Crenshaw was a “NeoCon” with a particular focus on the representative’s favor for sending billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars over to Ukraine that could have been spent on improving lives at home.

Edginton also noted that he himself had “laughed off” the initial threat to Carlson only for Crenshaw to allegedly double down, “No seriously, I would kill him.”

Another previous spat between the pair sparked in early 2024 when legislation about the TikTok ban had many worried that the bill supported by the congressman gave then-President Joe Biden “the power to shut down news sites that dare to challenge him.”

“Crenshaw tells reporter Liam Cosgrove that U.S. intel agencies don’t meddle in domestic news coverage, when of course he knows that’s untrue,” added Carlson. “Watch his face as he says it. Liar.”

While the legislator pushed back on the claim and accused the commentator of “lying for attention, as usual,” the latest display of the veteran’s temper had many calling for an investigation, congressional censure, and even a primary if not outright removal from office.
