Illegal immigrants storm Manhattan Bloomingdale’s, brazenly grab for over $5K in designer sunglasses

Illegal immigrants in New York City stormed a Manhattan Bloomingdale’s and brazenly tried to grab $5,300 in designer Versace, Dior, and Prada sunglasses.

All of them got away but one, according to the NYPD who released a statement on Sunday.

“About 15 asylum-seekers swarmed the high-end Midtown retailer shortly before 6:30 p.m. Saturday and grabbed more than a dozen pairs of the pricey sunglasses before making a run for it, sources said,” the New York Post reported.

“An alert cop on paid detail at the store was able to grab one of the crooks while the rest ran off, according to sources,” the outlet noted.

The one suspect who was detained is Stiven Matos, 23. He is being charged with “robbery, criminal possession of stolen property, possession of burglar tools, and resisting arrest in the incident,” according to the New York Post.

Police were able to recover one Christian Dior pair of sunglasses, 10 pairs of Versace sunglasses, and two pairs of Prada sunglasses. It’s unknown what, if anything, the mob got away with as they fled the store.

The city of Manhattan is flooded with illegal immigrants. It is currently housing almost 70,000 of them. Unsurprisingly, crime is a side effect of the inundation by many of those who are already criminals.

Approximately 162,000 illegal immigrants have been gifted to the five boroughs of New York City since 2022 by conservatives in red border states who decided to share the invasion by busing a fraction of them in, according to city officials. The number is climbing daily.

It isn’t just illegal aliens who are boldly ripping off businesses. This is part of a trend of gangs of thieves across the nation hitting outlets in grab-and-run heists. So far, retailers and police have not been able to put a stop to it and the incidents are multiplying because no one is willing to use force to stop them. The illegal immigrants are learning by watching Americans that they can get away with theft and other crimes.

In one example of lawlessness brought on by progressive policies, over a hundred people descended on a California bakery last week. They destroyed the eatery before taking off.
