Former congressman George Santos wasted no time establishing a new cash flow after being expelled last week from the U.S. House of Representatives, joining Cameo where fans can request a cameo video in exchange for a little compensation.
And that’s where Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) comes into play. Turns out, Fetterman not only has jokes but also first-class pranks in his repertoire, as he tricked Santos into trolling Sen. Bob Menendez — the embattled New Jersey Democrat is under fire for claims that he and his wife were bribed by Egypt.
Fetterman paid Santos $343 for a Cameo video to offer “Bobby from Jersey” some words of encouragement and Santos ate it up.
“‘I thought my ethically-challenged colleague @BobMenendezNJ could use some encouragement given his substantial legal problems. So, I approached a seasoned expert on the matter to give ‘Bobby from Jersey’ some advice,” Fetterman tweeted, while sharing the Cameo video.

In the video, a defiant Santos informs “Bobby” to stand his ground and ignore all the haters.
”Hey, Bobby! I don’t think I need to tell you, but these people that want to make you get in trouble and want to kick you out and make you run away, you make them put up or shut up,” the disgraced former lawmaker said “You stand your ground, sir. And don’t get bogged down by all the haters out there.”
As for Fetterman, he also posted a tweet reminding followers of his critical remarks directed at Menendez last week during an appearance on The View.
“Yeah, I said it. The Senior Senator from Egypt has got to go,” he tweeted, while sharing a quote from that appearance: “If you are going to expel Santos, how can you allow somebody like Menendez to remain in the Senate?”
