Jon Stewart reportedly overvalued his home over 800 percent, pushed Trump’s ‘crime’ as ‘not victimless’

Jon Stewart is getting flamed for hypocrisy after he whined about investor Kevin O’Leary’s remarks that presumptive GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump’s overvaluing of assets lacked a victim.

On Monday’s edition of “The Daily Show,” the left-wing comedian railed against the “Shark Tank” host’s recent appearance on CNN where he discussed the $464 penalty in New York Attorney General Letitia James’ civil fraud case against the former president, labeling Mr. Wonderful as an “a**hole” and insisting that Trump’s overvaluing properties was “not victimless.”

Stewart began by airing a clip of the CNN segment with O’Leary in which he noted that the ruling did not “go over well” with real estate investors who rightly perceive that they too could be targeted by ruthlessly partisan prosecutors.

Coates responded by running down a laundry list of the charges that he was found liable for including, “falsifying business records in the second degree, issuing false financial statements, insurance fraud and conspiracy, all due to asset inflation.”

O’Leary replied, “Everything that you just listed off is done by every real estate developer everywhere on Earth in every city. This has never been prosecuted.”

Stewart responded to the clip by first profanely insulting the “Shark Tank” host.

“I am surprised to hear this from Kevin O’Leary, a guy who’s such an a**hole … that even the other people on ‘Shark Tank’ think he’s an a**hole,” Stewart said. “I’m surprised to hear that he’s so chill about overvaluing something that he thinks is victimless because when someone tries to do that to him …”

“How is he not this mad about overvaluations in the real world?” Stewart asked. “Because they are not victimless crimes.”

But as with many leftists, Stewart doesn’t appear to practice what he preaches.

The New York Post reported that he appears to be guilty of overvaluing his own assets, specifically the Tribeca duplex that he sold a decade ago for considerably more than the assessed value according to records confirmed by the outlet.

In 2014, the Democrat shill sold the 6,280-square-foot property to for $17.5 million. While the asking price is “not available in listing records,” according to the Post, 2013-2014 assessor records place the estimated market value at just $1.882 million and the valuation of the assessor was much less at a mere $847,174.

Based on the assessor’s information, Stewart appears to have overvalued his home by a staggering 829 percent.

X users noted that there are now two different sets of legal standards based on politics and that Stewart is just one more colossal leftist hypocrite.

The New York Post scoop also caught Trump’s attention:

Stewart reacted to the story in a vulgar post to X, “OMG!! I’ve been caught doing something not remotely similar to Trump! I guess all I need to do now is start a fraud college, steal classified docs, bankrupt casinos, pay hush money, grab pussies, discriminate in housing, cheat at golf and foment insurrection and you’ll revere me!”

“The f**ing entitled arrogance,” Stewart said of O’Leary. Perhaps he should glance in his own mirror.
