Talk about a water-cooler rant, newly appointed U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro shared a video Wednesday about how “thrilled” she is to encounter the insane bureaucracy that defines the federal government.
“Hi, everyone, it’s Judge Jeanine,” Pirro began. “I’m at the water cooler in the United States Attorney’s office in Washington, D.C., and you may recall that the United States gave something like $44 billion a year through USAID for things like dance classes in Wuhan, China, and Sesame Street in Iraq.”
After reminding viewers that the office is tasked with prosecuting crime on behalf of the victims, Pirro expressed her dismay over what takes precedence in the DC swamp.
“The U.S. Attorneys, as well as the staff, in order to get water, they have to join a water club — and they have to pay. It’s a dues-paying membership.”
JUST IN: U.S. Attorney Judge Jeanine slams the federal government for forcing anyone who wants water at the office to join a “membership” and pay $7 per month.
It’s called “water club.” And no water was even delivered.

“And today they asked for our patience. Why? Because we couldn’t get water delivered today. Today, there was no water delivered to the United States Attorney’s Office. And remember, it’s only for those who pay $7 a month. Now, ain’t it grand to be a part of the government? I’m just thrilled to be here,” she said.
On a more somber note, Pirro appeared at a press conference on Thursday to comment on the cold-blooded murder of Yaron Licschinsky, 30, and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, 26, two Jewish workers for the Israeli Embassy in Washington. The suspected killer, Elias Rodriguez, shouted “Free Palestine” as he was taken into custody.
“Our community today is reeling, as a result of one person’s actions, two families are left to grieve for dreams that will never be realized,” Pirro said
“What I want to be clear about today, since this is the first time you are hearing from me, is that this is a horrific crime,” Pirro said. “And these crimes are not going to be tolerated by me and by this office.”
On that note, it’s good to have adults back in the room. At the same time, the “water club” did not go over too well with the folks — here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on the social media platform X:
This is peak bureaucratic insanity. Federal employees forced to pay $7/month for water access while USAID burns $44 billion annually on Sesame Street in Iraq and Wuhan dance programs? The same government that can’t deliver H2O to its own offices somehow finds endless cash for…

At this point, satire has packed its bags and fled the country.
It just can’t compete.

Water is a fundamental requirement for all employees in any working environment. This is ludicrous! I’ve noticed several instances like this where they’re squeezing employees, in multiple agencies, while they fund bullsh*t NGOs worldwide. I bet the “water club” is part of that.

I worked for the Feds for 35 years, and we always had to pay for our water. I used to refill a gallon jug with water and bring it with me every day.

These the same federal employees that haven’t shown up to the office for 5 years? Drink the DC water like residents do – if you require bottled water, bring your own. I have to do it every day.
