A Kentucky Democrat was engulfed by outrage over her bizarre remarks suggesting that pedophiles should be given sex dolls of children as a “release” to prevent actual abuse.
Leftist Bluegrass State senator Karen Berg became a social media star for all the wrong reasons when video of her creepy comments at a committee hearing last week went viral.
Lawmakers were discussing a bill outlawing the purchase of perverted sex toys when Berg chimed in about internet research that she’d done about the benefits of using the dolls for Minor Attracted Persons (MAPS) the Orwellian term that the left has invented to normalize child molesters.
“There are what they call MAPS, Minor Attracted Persons, and the limited amount of research that’s done on these dolls, guys, suggest that they actually – for people who are attracted to minors – that these dolls actually decrease their proclivity to go out and attack children,” she said. “That it actually gives them a release that makes them less likely to go outside of their home.”

Her unconventional suggestion drew fierce criticism from X users.

I can’t believe I’m writing this post, a Senator in Kentucky Karen Berg (D) is advocating in giving Pedo’s access to child sex dolls, her reasoning is that it may give pedo’s a release, it would stop them from abusing children further down the line. Normalizing an evil sickness

So, I guess we are normalizing pedophilia??

How have they not yet asked for the resignation of this disgusting woman?

Berg tried to mitigate the fallout with a statement clarifying her remark but the damage was done.
“As a mom and a physician I am of course deeply concerned with the harm of pedophilia and I regret if my question in committee didn’t convey that,” she said. “I voted in favor of House Bill 207 to outlaw child-sex dolls, a stance that aligns with my commitment to safeguarding the well-being of our youth and holding perpetrators accountable.”
The reshaping of the language to protect child sex perverts also got under the skin of podcasting king Joe Rogan.
“I saw 2 different politicians in 2 different speeches talk about protecting MINOR ATTRACTED PERSONS … you’re talking about p*dophiles!” — Joe Rogan

“This one’s been driving me f**king crazy lately, Minor Attracted Persons,” he said during a discussion with Chris Rufo. “I saw two politicians in two different speeches talk about protecting Minor Attracted Persons.”
“You’re talking about pedophiles,” he pointed out.
