Kim Kardashian visited Harvard Business School on Friday and spoke for nearly two hours concerning her multi-billion-dollar SKIMS shapewear business, but it wasn’t received as seriously as she would have liked with many mocking the reality star.

Kardashian was flanked by a camera crew as fans tried to get a glimpse and a shot of her when she walked by. She arrived at Harvard with the co-founder of SKIMS, Jens Grede, to address students enrolled in the Moving Beyond Direct to Consumer course, according to the New York Post. The course is taught by Harvard professors Len Schlesinger and Ayelet Israeli and executive fellow Matt Higgins.
According to NBC10 Boston, some students actually praised Kardashian’s speech concerning SKIMS and valued her business acumen. Her company was valued at $3.2 billion a year ago.
But many on Twitter found it hilarious that Harvard would sink so low as to have Kardashian grace the revered campus after so many tawdry scandals.
“This is hilarious. @KimKardashian can’t spell @Harvard,” one person quipped concerning the nearly hour and 45-minute speech.

She was mercilessly mocked on Twitter:
Kim Kardashian was born into wealth. Attempted to use a sex tape to launch an acting or singing career; neither launched. Kim K was wealthy enough to make a scripted reality TV show work because she & her family are shameless. Harvard is just as tacky as the Kardashians now pic.twitter.com/wEzhH35a2D

The words “Kardashian” and “Harvard” should never appear in the same sentence…..ever.

I’d hate to pay that Harvard tuition $$$$ to only get her as a speaker.

The speech banned cameras and many wondered exactly what kind of advice the reality star gave students in attendance. She claims to be studying to be an attorney but Kardashian doesn’t have a college degree herself.
One student named Liz told NBC10 Boston that she got a lot out of the speech.
“I think a lot of people don’t respect her as someone who is co-running a multi-billion-dollar company,” she remarked during the interview.
“Just to learn from someone who has built such a successful business was really exciting and I think having the privacy of no cameras in the room, being able to have that candid conversation was special too,” Liz stated.
Kardashian did not visit Harvard Law School while she was on campus.
In 2019, for Halloween, the reality star made a prescient spoof clip where she recreated Reese Witherspoon’s “Legally Blonde” Harvard admissions video. Many find it not only funny but somehow apropos now that she’s studying law.

Kardashian’s ex, Kanye West, spoke at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 2013 and she accompanied him at the time, according to the New York Post.
