In what would certainly go down in history as an unforgettable occurrence, Donald Trump pit-bull Laura Loomer predicted that the former president will hire her as White House press secretary should he win in Nov. 2024.
Many calling her loose with facts and short on decorum, Loomer sees herself on a grand mission to “protect” Trump and spends lots of time online sniping at anyone she sees as a threat to the leading Republican presidential candidate. Loomer does not hold back on the venom and is quick to resort to character assassination tactics, mimicking the man she pledges undying loyalty to.
“Someday I will be his Press Secretary. I will protect him from all of his enemies and haters. They will meet their match in me,” Loomer tweeted, adding the hashtag #Trump2024.

A controversial figure, Loomer was shredded by many in May when she attacked Casey DeSantis, the wife of Trump’s chief rival in the GOP primary Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — Florida’s first lady battled breast cancer in 2021 and Loomer insinuated in a tweet that Mrs. DeSantis faked cancer to win votes for her husband’s 2022 reelection effort.
“DeSantis supporters say you aren’t allowed to criticize Jill DeSantis because she claims she had cancer (I’ve never seen the medical records),” Loomer said at the time. “Personally, I think Jill’s health has been over exaggerated in a desperate effort to get votes for DeSantis. They even used it in a 2022 campaign commercial which is very tacky.”
She has criticized Mrs. DeSantis as a mother — Casey has three young children with the governor, daughter Madison, 5, son Mason, 4, and daughter Mamie, 2 — and even ripped her for not using her “real name” because she goes by her middle name instead of her given first name, Jill.
As for being hired by Trump, an early foray in that direction blew up when The New York Times reported back in April that the former president was considering bringing her on board. The news drew a strong reaction from one of Trump’s staunchest allies, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).
“Laura Loomer is mentally unstable and a documented liar. She can not be trusted,” Greene tweeted, adding that she would make sure Trump knows how she feels: “Never hire or do business with a liar. Liars are toxic and poisonous to everything they touch. I’ll make sure he knows.”
In her own defense, Loomer told the N.Y. Times, “[Trump] likes me very much. And it’s a shame that he’s surrounded by some people that run to a publication that is notorious for attacking him in order to try to cut me at the knees instead of being loyal to President Trump and respecting their confidentiality agreements.”
Suffice it to say, Loomer was not hired.
Some Magadonians like the idea of Loomer being Trump’s official spokesperson but it’s a good thing she doesn’t mind ridicule because the mockery flowed online at the suggestion.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:

Haha no Laura.
He knows you just make up most of what you say and are unstable. That’s why he embarrassed you in front of the whole world by not hiring you.

The only way Laura is ever getting in the White House is on the tour.

If so, this would be another poor choice by Trump.
