Mark Cuban says nothing to see here when accused of deleting pro-Kamala tweets

The famed Libs of TikTok X account shared a post claiming that billionaire Mark Cuban “is apparently deleting a bunch of his pro-Kamala posts.”

Cuban, of course, was a vocal Harris surrogate in the closing days of the presidential election, which was won convincingly by now President-elect Donald Trump, who beat Cuban’s horse in a landslide, drawing 312 Electoral College votes compared to 226 for Harris.

To Cuban’s credit, when Libs of TikTok asked him what’s up with the alleged deleting of the tweets, the former Shark Tank star replied, essentially saying, “Move along, nothing to see here.”

“I’ve always gone back and deleted tweets. For years. Same with 2020 election. 2016 election. Same with other stuff. You can use the wayback machine if you really want to see them,” Cuban replied.

According to stats shared by social media user Kevin Dalton, Cuban does engage in deleting tweets but the numbers stepped up substantially after the election:

In what amounts to a case on pressing one’s luck — given that Cuban responded once — LoTT countered with another tweet supposedly deleted by Cuban acknowledging that Team Kamalot bought him lunch. Twice. Cuban has yet to answer why he allegedly scrubbed that tweet.

In the closing days of the election, Cuban stepped in a pile when he declared Trump does not surround himself with “strong, intelligent women,” resulting in a huge backlash and an ultimate mea culpa from Cuban.

“This is what I said during a conversation about why Nikki Haley was not active in his campaign,” he said on X. “I know many strong, intelligent women voting for Trump, including in my extended family. I’m certainly not saying female voters are not smart, strong and intelligent.”

While Cuban claimed Kamala Harris would “make a better president,” he was quick to congratulate Trump when it became apparent early Wednesday that the American people had made their choice, as well as fellow billionaire Elon Musk, who he clashed with after Musk endorsed Trump.

“Congrats @realDonaldTrump. You won fair and square. Congrats to @elonmusk as well. #Godspeed,” Cuban posted on Musk-owned X.

Social media users capitalized on the opportunity to have a little fun at Cuban’s expense… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story as seen on the social media platform:
