Massachusetts state troopers fired for declining jab will finally return to work after legal victory

A long-fought battle against COVID tyranny was marked with a minor blue state victory for state troopers who had their “religious convictions…trampled.”

No matter the altruistic goal of “Operation Warp Speed,” for many the result was either vaccine injury or ostracization for refusing to bow to peer pressure or mandates. For eight Massachusetts State Troopers, the governor’s executive order had landed them with suspensions for seeking a religious exemption.

Friday, the State Police Association of Massachusetts announced that an arbitrator had ruled in favor of those officers and that seven would be given the chance to be reinstated “with full back pay retroactive to their initial suspension. They have also been awarded their full seniority rights and all benefits minus any interim earnings and/or unemployment compensation.”

The challenge by the troopers dated back to August 2021 when then-Gov. Charlie Baker (R) had issued an executive order mandating that by October 2021 all employees within the Massachusetts executive branch were required to take a full course of Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson’s COVID shots.

The mandate not only saw troopers suspended after petitions for religious exemptions were denied, but dozens had decided to resign outright rather than be subject to the experimental jabs.

Association President Patrick McNamara commented on the victory as well as the ongoing fight for other members who’ve yet to be made whole.

“Earlier today, I had the distinct honor and privilege of informing seven of our Troopers, who have been suspended without pay due to Executive Order 595, that they would be returning to work. This fight began in October 2021 when the Association filed a grievance on their behalf. Since then, the Association has been committed to making these members whole,” the president remarked.

“Through this lengthy and grueling grievance and arbitration process, the Association has remained steadfast in our fight to right the injustices of the Baker Administration,” McNamara continued before labeling the order “an attack on organized labor and the rights of our members.”

Before thanking Association Vice President Luke Bonin and the legal team from Barrault and Associates, the president charged, “These members whose religious convictions were trampled, and who were left without pay or benefits, now can choose to return to work and will be made whole through retroactive pay and earned seniority.”

He also made sure to make note of 13 members who had lost their jobs over the mandates as their legal woes continued. McNamara said they “remain out of work, unfairly terminated by the Baker Administration, and left with the scars of a spiteful and unfounded designation of being dishonorably discharged.”

The importance to continue fighting the overreach from local, state and federal government agencies that have continually attempted to point the blame on others for enforcing draconian policies was emphasized by recent attempts to reignite panic porn.

As reported, MSNBC’s medical contributor Dr. Kavita Patel recently touted a rise in COVID hospitalizations by 12 percent from the week prior, without qualifying how low those figures were in comparison to recorded highs, as cause to dust off the widely proven ineffective masks.

“So, what I think people need to know is that, I would just keep people on alert, that when you’re in those crowded spaces, think about the cost of colds and sometimes many people don’t have any symptoms, a mask can be your best friend,” Patel said, “keep it–back in time we had them in our pockets, in our coats and our backpacks, time to bring them our again, especially as the school season starts. We don’t want to see kids missing school for things we could have prevented.”
