Massive fallout follows comedian’s explosive rant against ‘big-d— deviant’ celebs

Comedian Katt Williams delivered an explosive rant against some of the biggest names in comedy and the viral fallout continues to reverberate.

The controversial comedian went scorched earth during an extended appearance on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast where he targeted industry entertainers like Kevin Hart and Steve Harvey, predicting that all the “deviants” will be exposed in 2024.

Williams almost immediately went viral with his shots fired at comedy peers as he spoke to former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe last week and he continues to draw responses from many of his targets.

“The reason I had to come is because you’ve made a safe place for the truth to be told,” he said at the start of the nearly three-hour interview. “And I have watched all of these lowbrow comedians come here and disrespect you in your face and tell you straight-up lies.”

“Race is not where the line is drawn,” Williams said. “It’s God’s side and the other side, and we don’t care nothing about the other side, period. All of these big-d— deviants is all catching hell in 2024. It’s up for all of ’em. It don’t matter if you Diddy or whoever you is … all lies will be exposed. That’s all, and anyone who takes that the wrong way, know why they take it the wrong way … the truth is the light.”

“Because, in 30 years, I’ve done nothing but collect information, knowledge, and your secrets,” Williams added. “So, if you and a man was in a corner doing something you wasn’t supposed to be doing … somebody come to tell me.”

“I gather that. I value that. I’ll pay for that. Come tell me. I know so many things I shouldn’t know, and they all know it … You don’t make me the villain, not the guy that raises Black children and ain’t never done a hard drug in his life, and don’t have no stories of doing nobody dirty, and they’ll just go out and lie, he told Sharpe. ‘The industry doesn’t mess with Katt because he didn’t show up for the studio.’ No studios have ever said that.”

He unloaded on one name after another, picking up in his continued beef with actor and comedian Kevin Hart whom he suggested was an industry “plant.”

“He already had his deals when he got here! Have we heard of a comedian that came to LA, and, in his first year in LA, he had his own sitcom on network television, and had his own movie called ‘Soul Plane’ that he was leading? No, we’ve never heard of that before that person or since that person,” Williams said. “What do you think a plant is? Maybe people don’t understand the definition of these words.”

Hart appeared to respond in a post on X as he promoted his upcoming film “Lift.”

Williams earned a freestyle rap song from Ludacris in response to his claims about the actor and rapper.

“There was a crossroads where we were both invited to an Illuminati thing and it had to be one or the other of us, and decisions had to be made. So it was both of us; we were equal. One of us had to cut off all their hair and couldn’t do the sideburn thing no more with the points. And the next person, they said, was going to get $200 million because they were going to pay him $10 million a movie to do 20 movies,” Williams recounted. “One of those persons turned out to be Ludacris and the other person turned out to be Katt Williams.”

The rapper responded the next day.

“There are 30,000 new scripts in Hollywood every year. Not one of them asked for a country bumpkin Black dude that can’t talk good….and look like Mr. Potato Head,” Williams said at one point of Steve Harvey. “There ain’t none. You have to have range.”

He called out Cedric the Entertainer for allegedly stealing one of his jokes.

“He never wrote anything! Remember, when Cedric the Entertainer starts, he’s supposed to be singing, dancing, and telling jokes. That’s why he’s called ‘the Entertainer.’ We found out he can’t sing, can’t dance, and doesn’t write jokes,” he said.“He thought that I was just a no-name comedian and that he could take this joke and nobody would know.”

“Revisionist History, regardless of whatever Katts opinion My career can’t be reduced to One Joke Katt Williams claims as his,” Cedric the Entertainer responded to Williams’s comments on Instagram.

Williams took podcast viewers on a wild ride, torching more names and even getting in outlandish claims about Harvey Weinstein and others as his targets included Kanye West, Ricky Smiley and even Joe Rogan, who he said does not want him on his podcast show.

Rogan responded with an offer to “make it happen.”
