Vengeful Democrats are set to unleash a biblical flood of investigations when their new congressional majority is seated, with President Donald J. Trump’s corporate allies and donors high on their target list.
The party was able to capitalize on public discontent over gas and diesel prices and disapproval of the Iran war to win back both the House and the Senate in a midterm rout of historic proportions, a devastating blow to the president and his party just two years after their 2024 landslide.
Even before their decisive victory on Tuesday, Democrat lawmakers were shooting off their mouths about how they planned to probe top administration officials. Now it has been revealed that Trump’s tech bro allies and other corporate honchos could soon also be on the receiving end of a blizzard of subpoenas and be hauled in front of their congressional tribunals.
Fox News Digital has analyzed a dossier from a left-wing organization named Groundwork Collaborative that’s led by former aides to disgraced former President Joe Biden and Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), which lays out a blueprint for the coming witch hunt against Trump allies.
A progressive group led by former Biden, Warren and Sanders aides has assembled a 182-page blueprint mapping out potential Democratic congressional investigations targeting President Trump’s corporate allies and donors.
The document, obtained and analyzed by Fox News Digital, names Tesla, Apple, Amazon, OpenAI, Meta, Google, Microsoft, Oracle and others as targets for potential hearings. It also names Palantir’s Alex Karp and Coinbase’s Brian Armstrong individually. The blueprint goes beyond corporate targets, urging scrutiny of Trump’s personal finances, his tax arrangements, cryptocurrency businesses and alleged preferential treatment of corporate donors.
A longtime Democratic Senate staffer familiar with the process says Democratic majorities on these committees already plan to exclusively focus on targeting allies and donors of the president, including those who donated to the new White House ballroom.

According to the outlet, the 182-page document “maps Trump donors and corporate allies for potential Democratic congressional investigations. Leaders in big tech and CEOs of large corporations are likely to be among the targets of the anti-Trump crusade.”
One unnamed longtime Democrat Senate staffer who has familiarity with the process told the conservative news outlet the incoming Democratic Party majority plans to “exclusively focus” on going after Trump’s donors and allies, including those who have given money to the new White House ballroom, the president’s most cherished project.
But the anonymous staffer “did not see the document, which specifically says to target those who gave to the ballroom, library, Trump’s inauguration and campaign,” according to Fox News Digital.
The document, which was posted online by Politico, states: “Groundwork has begun to gather research on corporations that could be high-value oversight targets in a potential Democratic majority in the House and/or Senate.”
“We are currently using a research service to run pulls of public news sources and databases related to specific questions about large companies’ political activity, benefits under the Trump administration, and corporate malfeasance or crimes,” the organization boasted.
“We are also mapping these corporations to the potential committees of jurisdiction that would have the ability to conduct oversight, though many of them would cross jurisdiction across a number of committees,” the group continued as it listed some of the biggest companies in corporate America.
Among those listed are: Amazon, Apple, Tesla, Oracle, Trump Media, and World Liberty Financial, with specific names including Palantir’s Alex Karp and Coinbase’s Brian Armstrong, as well as Apple CEO Tim Cook, and Tesla/SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.
The tech titan and world’s first trillionaire will surely be singled out for harsh treatment, with the ex-DOGE boss being a man whom Democrats despise almost as much as Trump – and maybe even more.
“There is a very clear connection to Trump/Musk, there are direct harms to Americans (DOGE firings, agency understaffing, loss of tax revenue, safety of cars). One challenge would be to find a new angle to approach this as a lot has been widely reported,” the document states as the rationale for Musk’s inclusion.
However, Dems are downplaying the blueprint, with one Democrat House Judiciary Committee aide telling Semafor that it was just “one of many” and that, “We all get a lot of emails.”
“We just had a midterm election where Democratic candidates across the country made the point that corporations have been doing very well for the last several years, while the typical family has been getting squeezed with higher prices and worse service,” former National Economic Council deputy director Bharat Ramamurti told Fox News Digital.
“The oversight agenda is about trying to understand and figure out what exactly are these corporations doing, who’s responsible for these decisions, and then what, as policymakers, can folks in Congress do about it,” added Ramamurti, who coordinated with Groundwork Collaborative on the dossier.
They can try to distance themselves, but it’s not exactly a national secret that Democrats are spending the lame duck session honing their blades.
