Podcaster Megyn Kelly is no stranger to controversial and heated statements, and her recent thoughts about National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci are no different.
Responding to a statement from Dr. Fauci that he will “consider” appearing before Congress to answer some questions next year, Kelly unleashed on him.

Dr. Fauci says he’ll “consider” appearing before Congress next year. @MegynKelly: “You don’t get to say whether you go. You get a congressional subpoena, you show up, or you get the Steve Bannon treatment…”

“He sounds like he’s been invited to afternoon tea at one of our houses. ‘I will consider it.’ He’ll consider it. ‘You know only if there’s oversight, because what I experienced was personal attacks,'” Kelly mocked before giving him the business.
“F**k you, Dr. Fauci. You don’t get to say whether you go. You get a congressional subpoena, you show up, or you get the Steve Bannon treatment.”
But this wasn’t the only time she took the doctor to task. She also lambasted him over his flip-flop on natural immunity.
“He mocked the idea of natural immunity, eliminating the need for his beloved, mandatory vaccines. Despite admitting years earlier that natural immunity is, in fact, the gold standard. His unexplained reversal cost millions their livelihoods,” Kelly noted.
She also nailed him over his reaction to pushback from within the medical community.
“Those who questioned Dr. Science and his approach to the pandemic? Evil. Like those who put together the Great Barrington Declaration, doctors from Stanford, Oxford, Harvard. They questioned Fauci’s lockdown push. They said an approach based on focused protection in which we protect the most vulnerable – the elderly, the immunocompromised – makes sense, but we let others live their lives, that’s what we need,” she recalled for her listeners. “And what did Fauci do? He conspired with his boss [Francis Collins] at the NIH to smear these good doctors.”
Her entire Fauci-bashing monologue can be seen here:
Social media reacted to her fiery dressing down of the out-going director:
Thank you Megyn for saying things republican and reality based ppl should be saying. We need more ppl speaking like this and not throwing Anthony a party on his way out. We need answers.
