Megyn Kelly unloads on Jordan’s Queen Rania for ‘trying to spin the lie that children weren’t killed’ by Hamas

Megyn Kelly unloaded on Jordan’s Queen Rania for trying to “spin the lie” that children were not brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists in the attack on Israel.

On “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast on Wednesday, the journalist tore into the monarch for claims she made in the “shocking” interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Tuesday. Rania slammed the West for alleged pro-Israel bias in reporting on the attack and suggested that reports about Israeli babies being killed by Hamas as not being ” independently verified.”

Kelly was apoplectic, expressing her disgust with Jordan’s queen, whose parents are Palestinian.

“Sometimes there are interviews that are so shocking, even we can’t believe it,” she began, unpacking the “unbelievable stuff” that transpired during the CNN interview with Rania.

Agreeing that the queen is “absolutely gorgeous – on the outside,” Kelly then noted that “on the inside, she showed a different story.”

The queen decried what she described as a “deafening silence” in the wake of Israel’s retaliation on Gaza.

“Why isn’t there a call for an immediate ceasefire? We are seeing staggering human suffering happening today, so why is the narrative always skewed towards the Israeli side?” she asked Amanpour.

She turned her anger toward President Joe Biden and his response to reports of babies in Israel being beheaded by the Hamas terrorists.

“When the President of the United States is told that he has evidence he has seen evidence of children beheaded, only to retract it because the IDF said that there’s no proof of that. That is confirmation bias,” the mother of four said before launching a salvo at CNN directly.

“Even at your network Christiane, the CNN website, at the beginning of the conflict reported a headline about Israeli children found butchered in an Israeli kibbutz. And when you read through the story, that’s not been independently verified,” Rania said.

Kelly recounted to viewers how even CNN’s Amanpour tried to reign in the queen, interrupting at one point to note the existence of horrific images that show “babies’ bodies riddled with bullets.”

“Unbelievable. She’s actually trying to spin the lie – the queen – that children weren’t killed? Kelly said.

“Really? So just to recap, according to the Queen of Jordan, Israel’s the bad guy,” she added. “Apparently she missed the Hamas interrogations and confessions of their brutality…Perhaps she also missed the clip from a terrorist who gleefully called Mom and Dad to brag about all the innocent Jewish blood on his hands.”

Earlier, Kelly explained how Rania “unloaded in this interview, revealing what she really thinks about Israel, Gaza, and those of us outside the Middle East.”

“She threw her friends in the West in there just for good measure,” she said.

“Even the Palestinians’ most ardent supporters have learned that they need to spend like three lines on how they feel terrible about what happened to the Israelis. That would be a good place to start. The innocent lives lost in Israel, and then maybe you pivot to the innocent lives lost in Gaza,” Kelly suggested. “That’s not exactly what happened.”
