NY attorney accuses Ben Affleck and Matt Damon of stalking and bugging her home in off-the-rails lawsuit

A New York attorney is suing actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, accusing the besties of stalking her and bugging her home to use private details of her life in their movies.

The attorney is hiding her identity as she moves forward with the bizarre case. The Daily Mail got a hold of court documents that claim the actors also hacked her devices and left the attorney in fear of being kidnapped and raped.

“The lawsuit claims that her identity and personal experiences were used to develop SNL skits at the time Affleck was dating a producer Lindsay Shookus, and as well as in films produced by Harvey Weinstein,” the Daily Mail reported.

“She claims not to know when she became an ‘unwitting participant’ in their simulation, according to the suit filed in New York Supreme Court on Thursday, under the Adult Survivors Act,” the outlet added.

Also named in the suit are Affleck’s brother, Casey Affleck, his wife, singer/actress Jennifer Lopez, actor Kevin Smith, and disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. The suit is also targeting Dimension Films, Disney, Lionsgate, Warner Bros., and Paramount Pictures, who she is accusing of negligence for allowing harassment and plagiarism to take place.

“She claims that work released in 2023 includes art which contains a reproduction of her ‘nude’, which she identified by a scar which is a ‘distinguishing characteristic’ of hers,” according to the Daily Mail. “Her lawsuit states she saw similarities in her life on SNL and Mob Wives between 2010 to 2011.”

The unidentified attorney was notably injured in a car accident that took place in 1985. She reportedly suffers from short-term memory loss and physical limitations.

The woman joined Project Greenlight in 2001, a website owned by Damon and Affleck that is a forum for writers to discuss ideas.

Court documents indicate that she repeatedly watched “Maid in Manhattan” (2002) while recovering from an injury incurred in 2002. The attorney claims she realized the similarities between her life and Lopez’s character after watching the movie. The suit also contends that the movie “Gone Girl” reflected events and dialogue from her life as did several other shows and films.

“She claims that patterns in the works include characters with her first name or similar, and who are similar to her in appearance – ‘dark bobbed or shoulder length hair with bangs, are gap-toothed, and wear candy-cane colors,’” the Daily Mail wrote.

“The Weinstein Company is accused of repeatedly using her identity in The Details (2011), Spy Kids 4-D: All the Time in the World (2011); Scream 4 (2011); The Railway Man (2013), The Butler (2013), St. Vincent (2014), Big Eyes (2014), Snowpiercer (2014), Bad Santa 2 (2016) and Amityville Awakening (2017),” the news outlet stated.

The attorney’s allegations are out there, to say the least.

“These allegations are corroborated by the fact that three of them use her first name or derivatives of it, another filmed in her neighborhood, several include the boxcutter, others include hourglasses, and one includes her birthday,” the court documents asserted.

The suit even charges that “characters had clothes or other belongings identical to hers, referenced her likes and dislikes including ‘high thread-count sheets, squirrels and cats,’” the Daily Mail recounted.

Adding to the wackiness of the suit, she also says that music artists she listened to including Simon & Garfunkel, philosophers she has quoted, and a KFC she lived near were also mentioned in the shows and movies as well as her personal belongings.

She claims that Affleck and Lopez mirrored her life along with numerous other accusations:

  • Affleck and Lopez bought a home in Savannah, Georgia after she applied for a job there.
  • Lopez bought a dog and a horse that she wanted.
  • She tried on clothes that were too tight before Lopez performed “Tight Pants” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
  • She claims Damon quoted her at MIT.
  • Affleck adopted a Husky and wore a t-shirt with pyramids on it after she said she wanted to adopt a rescue dog and travel to the pyramids.
  • She contends that Ben Affleck was “watching her” in a laundromat in Atlantic City.
  • She claims that Damon was seeing her dentist in 2009 and that a number of his projects were filmed near her home the next year.
  • The attorney accuses Affleck of stalking her in 2004 and 2005 and she has spotted Affleck and Damon in her vicinity since then.

And there are many other seemingly paranoid charges in the suit concerning the actors according to the Daily Mail.

The attorney says she has been left with “severe emotional distress” after being portrayed as “a prostitute, stripper, promiscuous, drug addict” and accused the group of celebrities of “disclosing embarrassing facts.”

The lawsuit states that she is in fear for her life after hearing “snitches get stitches” numerous times. She also fears being kidnapped, raped, and murdered.

The woman is asking for undisclosed compensatory damages. A similar suit filed by the attorney was dismissed in 2023.
