Outrage after Biden regime absolves itself of blame for catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal; points finger at Trump

The disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan in which the Biden regime surrendered the country to the Taliban left an enduring black mark on the nation’s global stature and reputation, but according to the White House, it’s all former President Donald J. Trump’s fault.

On Thursday, the administration released the results of a review of its catastrophic withdrawal from the wartorn country in the summer of 2021, cutting and running in a humiliating exit that some have suggested was the nation’s most damaging foreign policy debacle since the end of the Vietnam War, a disorderly retreat that left behind billions of dollars in military equipment for the Islamic extremists who celebrated as they ran their flag up over the U.S. Embassy in Kabul.

It’s been a long, long time since Democrat President Harry Truman famously displayed a sign in the Oval Office with the words “The Buck Stops Here” and the administration’s summary shirked its own responsibility by passing the buck to Biden’s predecessor, putting the blame squarely on Trump – a convenient scapegoat for its own mistakes – and letting its propagandists do the rest as far as rewriting history.

The 12-page document put together by Biden officials called the geriatric Democrat’s decision to pull the plug on the war, which lasted two decades, “the right thing for the country” and while it doesn’t seem to acknowledge the monumental blunders that led to the chaotic withdrawal, it repeatedly criticizes Trump and his administration.

“President Biden’s choices for how to execute a withdrawal from Afghanistan were severely constrained by conditions created by his predecessor,” the document states with the White House also accusing Trump of emboldening the terrorist Taliban with peace talks without the approval of allies and regional partners.

“During the transition from the Trump Administration to the Biden Administration, the outgoing Administration provided no plans for how to conduct the final withdrawal or to evacuate Americans and Afghan allies,” the administration says. “Indeed, there were no such plans in place when President Biden came into office, even with the agreed upon full withdrawal just over three months away.”

Considering the media’s complicity in covering for Biden, the notoriously short attention span of average Americans, and an administration that lies as a matter of first, last, and only resort, it’s probably understandable that the reality of the chaotic and bloody withdrawal has already receded from the public mind, including the heartbreaking scenes of desperate Afghanis clinging to a military aircraft as it lifted off, risking their lives to escape from repression at the hands of the new Taliban government.

“These Morons in the White House, who are systematically destroying our Country, headed up by the biggest Moron of them all, Hopeless Joe Biden, have a new disinformation game they are playing – Blame ‘TRUMP’ for their grossly incompetent SURRENDER in Afghanistan. I watched this disaster unfold just like everyone else. I saw them take out the Military FIRST, GIVE $85 Billion of military equipment, allow killing of our soldiers, and leave Americans behind. Biden is responsible, no one else!” Trump wrote on Truth Social, slamming the White House for its lack of honesty.

Biden flunky John Kirby was confronted over the military equipment that his boss gifted to the Taliban in Thursday’s White House daily briefing.

“And so, this idea, this argument is just ludicrous that we left millions of dollars of stuff in Afghanistan. We didn’t. We turned it over, as the previous administration would have done, too, because part of their thinking was they were going to have to turn this material over. It was turned over appropriately and carefully and deliberately with the Afghan National Security Defense Forces,” he said.

Kirby didn’t mention the images that were released by the Taliban and posted to social media last month showing a small portion of the reported $7 billion in abandoned U.S. taxpayer property that Biden’s foreign policy dream team left behind, an early Christmas present that will be the proverbial gift that keeps on giving now that its in the hands of those who take great pleasure in killing Americans.

“While it was always the president’s intent to end that war, it is also undeniable that decisions made and the lack of planning done by the previous administration significantly limited options available to him,” Kirby told reporters.
