‘Pitiful and shallow’: Hilarity ensues when MSNBC’s Kyle Griffin declares that he refuses to leave Twitter

An extremely left-wing MSNBC producer provoked massive mockery when he tweeted on Saturday that he refuses “to leave” Twitter.

“I refuse to leave,” MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin tweeted.

Look:

The mockery erupted immediately with critics first sarcastically praising Griffin over his courageous willingness to remain where nobody’s said he’s not wanted.

Look:

Other critics zeroed in on the fact that nobody is forcing Griffin or any other leftist off Twitter, the reason being that conservatives aren’t censorious zealots.

Plus, Twitter isn’t even owned by a conservative — it’s owned by billionaire Elon Musk, a right-leaning centrist who dislikes extremists on both the left and right.

The left have nevertheless portrayed Musk as a far-right conservative because of his support for free speech, which ironically used to be something liberals backed. But apparently not anymore. These days, conservatives are the free speech advocates.

Look:

Note what one of the critics wrote about “pressure from colleagues or followers.”

Many leftists have been voluntarily jettisoning Twitter in favor of alternatives like Mastodon, a left-wing-only safe space for, you guessed it, left-wingers.

Some of the leftists who chose to remain on Twitter are now apparently facing pressure from their fellow leftists to get out. But again, this pressure is coming from the left, not the right. Those on the right don’t care who stays or leaves.

Indeed, the last set of critics bluntly pointed out to Griffin that nobody gives a crap if he stays, leaves, or does whatever else on Twitter.

“This is not an airline, dude. No need to announce your departure, arrival, or… anything else,” one critic succinctly explained.

Look:

Griffin is, as noted other, extraordinarily left-wing and also very anti-Trump.

Back when then-President Donald Trump promised in May of 2020 that the COVID vaccine would be released before the end of the year, Griffin sought to “fact-check” him.

“Experts say he needs a ‘miracle’ to be right” about the vaccine, Griffin tweeted at the time.

Look:

He was obviously very wrong. In fact, he’s very wrong very often …
