Yet another CNN producer is mired in allegations involving the sexual exploitation of a minor, with police reportedly seizing electronics and hard drives from the suspect.
Exposed by Project Veritas, Rick Saleeby is accused of soliciting explicit photos of his fiancé’s underage daughter, with the scandalous allegation coming right on the heels of the arrest of CNN producer John Griffin, who was arrested on three counts of attempting to entice underage girls into sexual activities.
Jack Posobiec, the senior editor of Human Events, took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to tweet: “Fairfax County police have seized electronics and hard drives of Rick Saleeby, CNN producer for Jake Tapper, after FaceTime calls and texts appear to show solicitation of underage photos reported by Project Veritas, per individual close to investigation.”

There have been no mainstream media reports of the information shared by Posobiec, but Project Veritas reported:
“Fairfax County police have seized electronics, hard drives, and other belongings of Rick Saleeby, the CNN producer for Jake Tapper’s The Lead featured in last week’s story which detailed sexually predatory behavior toward minors. One of those minors involved was his fiancé’s daughter. Saleeby’s fiancé, who has since split with him, is fully cooperating with authorities, ‘to ensure this never happens to another family.'”
Saleeby is a network staffer who worked as a producer for CNN’s lead Washington anchor Jake Tapper, while Griffin, who was just fired, worked with Chris Cuomo on CNN’s “New Day” — Cuomo was also fired recently for his efforts to help his brother, now-former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, fend off allegations of sexual harassment.
Janine Bonanni, a former sex worker, spoke with Project Veritas about her 10-year relationship with Saleeby, producing text messages and recorded conversations she had with him. Saleeby had allegedly sent her photos of his fiancée’s 14-year-old daughter and fantasized about sexual activity with the young teen, including raping her. Bonnani also said that Saleeby asked her to send him nude photos of herself and her 15-year-old daughter together.
“If I was her mother and I found out my fiancé was sending photos of my child and talking about her in a sexual way, you’re going to prison,” Bonanni told Project Veritas.
The sick irony here is that Griffin was also involved in sexual desires involving mothers and daughters, according to police reports. He allegedly solicited three mothers in order to engage their underage daughters in “illicit sex acts.” The most recent incident occurred last summer when Griffin reportedly flew a mother and her adopted 9-year-old daughter to a second home in Vermont, paying the mother $3,500 for the encounter — he was reportedly looking to engage in “sexual subservience” training of the minor girls, advising one mother that it was her responsibility to see that her 13-year-old daughter was “trained properly.”
Donald Trump Jr also tweeted the report of police seizing Saleeby’s electronics and hard drives, along with a mash-up of the Project Veritas video and a segment on the story done by Fox News host Tucker Carlson:

As for the online reaction to the story, there were references to CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, who was allowed to return to the network after he was caught on video masturbating during an election simulation Zoom call.
Depends. Should we also include the chief legal masturbator in that group at CNN as well.
