The left appears to have taken their sights off of President-elect Donald Trump for now, turning their well of hatred onto X owner Elon Musk.
On social media, leftist circles have been referring to the billionaire as “President Elon Musk,” implying that he is somehow controlling Trump and acting as a shadow president in the incoming administration. Now, even “journalists” are asking the question “Who is running the country?” after concerns about the recent spending bill prompted lawmakers not to pass the pork-laden legislation.
Luckily for the folks at CNN, Scott Jennings always has answers even if they’re not what his left-leaning colleagues want to hear.
@ScottJenningsKY torches Democrat narrative about Elon running the government and not Trump, while Joe Biden is AWOL:
“If they’re worried about people who aren’t Donald Trump running the government or having influence, I wonder where they’ve been the last four years…… pic.twitter.com/5iER1hrCKD

“She let the mask slip right at the end she asked ‘Who’s the president right now? I mean, who’s the president-elect?’ But she asked the right question first, who is the president right now?” Jennings mused. “Joe Biden, who we rarely hear from and who the Wall Street Journal reported today has been diminished for the last four years and we’ve had unelected people running around running the federal government, apparently.”
“So if that’s what they’re worried about, f they’re worried about people who aren’t Donald Trump running the government or having influence, I wonder where they’ve been the last four years,” he added. “Now this doesn’t excuse anybody’s behavior on Capitol Hill tonight, but I think it’s pretty rich for Democrats to be worried that people who aren’t Donald Trump having influence when the current president, a Democrat, is AWOL and apparently not able to execute the duties of the office.”

Trump is universally recognized as POTUS already

To everybody who calls Elon Musk the president or something along those lines, I have one thing to tell you:
He is the first buddy. Get it right.

I think the funniest part of all this is that Trump isn’t even the president yet for Elon to be “running the government” on his behalf.
The current president is Joe Biden.
The current VP is Kamala Harris.
Have either of those 2 braintrusts weighed in on this?

That’s been my question the last 24 hours over this CR debate. Where the hell has Joe Biden been? Am I surprised? No. But seriously they are glossing over the fact that the current President and Vice President are coasting to Jan 20th. Must be nice! ♂️

Democrats are suddenly worried about “unelected” people running the government after allowing Biden’s staff do his job?

I don’t see any leaders calling and negotiating with Elon. These people wouldn’t know what to do if they couldn’t BLAME
