‘Seriously disfiguring’: Disturbing details surface in alleged murder of Laken Riley by illegal alien

Disturbing details are beginning to leak out concerning the murder of Laken Riley by a Venezuelan illegal immigrant who should never have been here in the first place.

“The Venezuelan migrant charged with murdering Laken Riley allegedly beat her so brutally with an unidentified object that he disfigured her skull, according to new affidavits,” the New York Post reported.

“Jose Antonio Ibarra, 26, who faces multiple murder and assault charges, is not thought to have known the 22-year-old nursing student when he allegedly kidnapped and killed her as she went for a run on the University of Georgia campus Thursday,” the media outlet added.

Police have listed her cause of death as blunt force trauma. It is unknown at this point if the devout Christian nursing student was sexually assaulted.

New charging documents accuse Ibarra of exerting “great bodily harm with an object.” There are no details yet on exactly what that object was.

However, charges also include aggravated battery for “seriously disfiguring her body … by disfiguring her skull,” according to affidavits provided to Fox News.

The documents go on to assert that the illegal immigrant prevented Riley “from making or completing a 911 call” with “intent to harm.” That allegedly happened when he grabbed the nursing student during her run after stalking her. The brutal attack took place between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday. Her body was found in the woods along a trail by the intramural fields before 1 p.m. that afternoon.

The affidavits also explain that he proceeded to drag Riley’s body to a secluded area in an attempt to hide it.

The Venezuelan is now facing eight charges that include felony murder, false imprisonment and kidnapping, and concealing the death of another.

Atlanta News First reported that Athens-Clarke County DA Deborah Gonzalez is appointing a special prosecutor for the case.

“Gonzalez said she’s naming attorney Sheila Ross, whom she described as ‘a knowledgeable and well-respected trial attorney with the expertise ready to bring justice on behalf of Laken Riley,'” the New York Post wrote.

Ibarra fell through the cracks twice last year while in the custody of law enforcement. After being arrested in New York City, he could have been deported but wasn’t.

“He was arrested in Queens on Aug. 31 and charged with endangering a child, but was released before immigration officials could file a request to ask local cops to hold him in custody, authorities said Monday,” the New York Post contended.

The suspect had an arrest warrant issued against him in Georgia as well for not showing up at a shoplifting court appearance in December, according to US Rep. Houston Gaines (R-GA).

“ICE confirmed what we already know: Jose Ibarra was in the country illegally,” Gaines wrote on X. “What the media hasn’t reported was that he was cited in Athens for shoplifting in Oct. — & there was a bench warrant for his arrest for failing to show in court.”

ICE claims that Ibarra entered the US illegally in El Paso, Texas, on Sept. 8, 2022. He had his wife and son with him. They were seeking asylum and were later released “for further processing.” From there, he wound up in New York City.

On Aug. 31, the NYPD charged Ibarra with a felony for riding a scooter with his 5-year-old stepson who wasn’t wearing a helmet or restraints. He was released after that.

“On Oct. 27, the migrant was arrested at a Walmart in Athens, Georgia, and charged with shoplifting, an arrest report shows — only to miss a court appearance and have a warrant issued on Dec. 20, according to Gaines,” the New York Post reported.

Former President Trump slammed “Biden’s border invasion” in a post on TRUTH Social, claiming Riley’s murder “should have NEVER happened.”

The White House responded to Riley’s murder on Monday via a statement to Fox News, “We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Laken Hope Riley. People should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law if they are found to be guilty. Given this is an active case, we would have to refer you to state law enforcement and ICE.”

However, President Biden couldn’t bring himself to say the nursing student’s name when a reporter questioned him on it.

More details will be released over the next few weeks. Riley’s murder has incensed the nation and people are demanding answers over it.

Trump is hitting Biden hard over the murder… right where it hurts as illegal immigration has become the number one concern in America.

Laken Riley’s funeral is scheduled for Friday.
