The shameful treatment of former first lady Melania Trump, who was once a fashion model, is often fresh on the mind when the media gushes over the fashion choices of current first lady Jill Biden — remarkably, an elegant Mrs. Trump never graced a single major fashion magazine cover.
As for Mrs. Biden, she had a bit of a fashion crisis upon her arrival Friday in Kenya — and that’s AFTER she wore a Minecraft ensemble.
Wearing a flowing blue print dress, the first lady was descending a flight of stairs after exiting her plane at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi when an ill-timed gust of wind all but exposed the most private of places. She desperately tried to rein in her suddenly unruly attire, and would eventually get a helping hand from granddaughter Naomi Biden.

On Wednesday, while visiting the Hope Initiative Southern Africa in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, Mrs. Biden rocked a dress that earned a Minecraft label, offsetting the selection with a pair of black sneakers.
Perhaps with her attire in mind, the first lady shared a photo of the dress along with the message: “To all the people I met in Namibia — I leave inspired by your determination and optimism. Your light illuminates a brighter world for us all.”

The ensemble prompted someone to tweet, “Dr. Jill Biden has an incredible sense of fashion. The Minecraft dress, coupled with sneakers is absolutely on trend for this spring. STUNNING.”

As for the cost of her dress, popular social media user Ian Miles Cheong put the figure at $2,490.
“We live in a simulation. Welcome to Minecraft,” he added.

Regarding Jill Biden’s taste in dresses, it’s not uncommon to hear people compare her choices to prints you might find on a shower curtain:

This only proves Dr. Jill is a great schoolteacher, since she is clearly letting her 3rd graders choose her outfits.

Definitely NOT a Melania Trump style, elegance, and grace type of FLOTUS. pic.twitter.com/xOJ4olOi3c
